My favorite Hawaiian treat is grilled pineapple! Pineapple by itself is delicious, but the addition of heat makes it even sweeter! I love the bright colored flowers that decorate lei's and grass skirts, the traditional or tribal part of the Hawaiian culture.

I am half Hawaiian and was raised in Hawaii untill I was 17. I love love love and dearly miss, Lilikoi Butter and Coconut syrup. Lillikoi butter is like apple butter but made from passion fruit and coconut syrup is very sweet and thick like sweetened condensed milk. I also miss haupia, coconut pudding.
