Do you love to read but want to be able to take as many books as you want without having the weight of all those books? Have you been wanting an e-reader? Well here's your chance!

Experience the ultimate readability

"Enjoy a more comfortable reading experience thanks to Kobo Glo's 6" high-res XGA Pearl E Ink touchscreen. The ultra-thin, durable screen displays each word at its finest thanks to E Ink and a 212 pixels-per-inch resolution. That means that tiny particles of ink are mixed in with every pixel so text pops off the page for the most paper-like 6" E Ink display.* Add to that a high-contrast ratio and you can see why Kobo Glo has an incredibly clear and crisp reading experience. It's just like print on paper, only better."

Open to USA residents only. Must be 18 years of age or older to enter.

  5. I love to read! I usually get books on my iPad, but it's not the greatest for reading (too bright, glares, etc). Also, I think my kids would be more encouraged to read if they could use a "device" like I do. It keeps lots of paper out of the landfills and saves trees too! 🙂

  8. With a toddler in tow it's hard to spare a few moments to read anything most of the time, this would really help and the fact that its so compact would be great for the diaper bag!

  9. Kobo's site is not showing any of the comments for the link above. Here is what I commented:

Until reading this I had no idea how big and widespread the Kobo company and it's devices were! Congratulations on closing in on one billion dollars. With so many titles in so many languages there is sure to be something for everyone with Kobo.

  10. We don't have an e-reader and this would be great to have to read all our favorite books and magazines. I'd be less likely to lose this or mangle it like a book :P.

  12. I'd like to win this because it would be handy to be able to carry around my library of books with me :). I get magazines several times a month and I'm always forgetting to grab them! If I could have them downloaded to something portable that was easy to read like this Kobo e-reader it would make keeping up on reading them much easier - only one thing to remember (and I wouldn't be as likely to misplace it :P).

  16. I am the only one who has a reader in our house, and it is just a nook simple touch. My oldest daughter, who is almost 6, I made a deal with her that when she learned to read i would give her my reader (and get a new one for me). This would be great to use toward making that happen!

  19. I spend a lot of time in waiting rooms at hospitals and doctor's offices and lugging books around can be cumbersome and inconvenient at times. Thsi would be a great way to carry around a variety of reads without taking up a ton of space or making it look like I just robbed a local library. 🙂
