Lucid HearMuffs for Kids

Lucid makes a line of headphones and ear covers that use to be available in only baby and toddler sizes, but now they have the same fantastic set of ear protection available to kids!

Kids HearMuffs

This version is simple yet effective ear protection. It keeps loud noises out and also protects young ears from loud noises. My youngest kiddo has been sensitive to sounds since he was a baby. This pair of Lucid Kids HearMuffs has a cozy fit that is adjustable. All you do is pull or push the band and fit to your child's head. They work really well for loud places such as concerts, fairs, and even school. This means that kids who have a sensitivity to loud noises, thanks to Lucid, we now have a solution to that problem. By the way.... this version comes in a rainbow of colors! Love the blue.... green or orange would be tied for second! Check them out HERE.

Kids HearMuffs Trio

This set of HearMuffs from Lucid Audio for kids has a couple more bells and whistles versus the pair of HearMuffs listed above. In addition to the ear protection, this set also offers a few other features:

  • Allow some noises in with the push of a button!
  • Connect to smart devices and you can use these HearMuffs as headphones! Perfect for tablets or iPads.

My Thoughts About Kids HearMuffs

Since reviewing the infant's HearMuffs, my kiddo has grown out of the baby sized and moved right up to the kid's size. Luckily, it's just in time for the release of the kid's version.... thanks Lucid!

My kiddo, J, is not fond of loud noises. He gets really shaken up when we are in a place that has any type of loud noises... even happy noises. These HearMuffs have helped him cope with noises that come with everyday life. He uses them at school as well to help him adjust to life as a preschooler. His teachers have been great about allowing him to use them because they are still able to communicate with him. Thanks to the technology behind HearMuffs, my kiddo is able to handle the sounds of the world, without missing out.

  1. Many headphones for kids today are around this topic too. It's gotten popular only in the past couple of years, sound like it does lots.

  2. These are exactly what I need for my son. He is scared of any loud noise, but loves big trucks. We have been wanting to take him to a monster truck ralley and we could use these.

  3. As awesome as fireworks on the 4th of July are, they can be overwhelming for young children. These headphones are a great option.
