Powered by Mom’s LuLaRoe Clothes Simply Comfortable and Cute Too – Review
Warning – if you do not want to become addicted to a clothing line that is simply comfortable and oh so cute too, stop reading now.
If you don’t know LuLaRoe clothes that are taking the US by storm, then you’re in for a treat. If you already “Roe” then you know what it’s like to love their clothes. I simply had to warn you all because it’s happened to me and I’ve seen now that there are thousands of women who have become obsessed with LuLaRoe clothes. It starts out with just getting a pair of their “butter soft” leggings, usually a black pair to you know go with everything.
I have to note that I blame my new LuLaRoe clothes addiction on Jenni the LuLaRoe consultant of the LuLaRoe Belles who asked if she could send me a few pieces of their clothing line to review.
Check out those skirts, leggings and that dress (above) which is my new favorite dress the Amelia!
The next you know you’re getting leggings in different colors, and then you move on up to a few patterned leggings. The next thing you know you want all of their styles. So what do they carry? They carry skirts, leggings, different styles of tops, young girls clothes in similar styles. I’ll be showing you some of the styles such as the Irma tunics, leggings, Cassie pencil skirt, Azure A-line skirt and some cardigans.
Here I am in the Cassie Skirt with an Irma! Me who said she doesn’t wear skirts or dresses any more. I adore this Cassie skirt, it’s stretchy, comfy and cute! I love it. Ignore the weeds on the lawn lol
LuLaRoe clothes are not sloppy you can get quite dressed up in them. As mentioned Jenni and her daughter-in-law Jade over at LuLaRoe Belles asked me if I would review this clothing line called LuLaRoe, I had never heard of them so I thought okay sure why not, I like to check out clothes, she said they were comfy and I could always use some leggings and tops so could I look at their catalogue? I was baffled when she said there was no catalogue, say what?
I just bought this Monroe Kimono that will be going in my suitcase for my upcoming press trip on a cruise.
Here’s how it works:
- They have various styles
- Each style gets a variety of prints & solids made, the number varies as it depends on how much of the material the LuLaRoe gods procure.
- LuLaRoe clothes are not sold in-stores, it’s sold by consultants online via Facebook groups, with some who do home parties. They post photos of the colors and patterns that they have in each style.
- Not all consultants carry all styles
- Individual consultants overall aren’t competitive, in fact they join together quite often in special groups for special pop-ups where you can see what all these consultants will have to offer in one Facebook group. I personally loved seeing this type of collaboration where they’re all about helping the customers find the pattern/color they want in the style they want and if it’s a hard to find one that is popular it’s called a unicorn. They help clients find their unicorn by asking other consultants etc..
Here I am in one of my more “bolder” LuLaRoe outfits, it’s a Classic T with one of my new favorite leggings. This outfit is so comfortable!
Jenni & Jade sent me leggings, Irma, Randy, Classic T, and the Sarah Cardigan. She wanted to send me a Maxi Skirt or an Amelia dress but I had told her no point, since I started working from home the last few years I don’t really care to wear dresses or skirts. Well did I ever change my tune! I am now the proud owner of about ahem 15 pairs of leggings, 3 Cassie Skirts, 3 Amelia dresses, 3 Randy Shirts, 2 Classic Ts, 2 perfect Ts, a Monroe Kimono Cardigan and now a Lindsay Cardigan. I warned you, obsessed and you will be too once you start the journey of LuLaRoe clothes.
Here’s a photo of a bunch of my leggings so you can see the styles and colors.
So what do you need to know about LuLaRoe when shopping for their clothes? Here’s a few things I learned that I wished I had known from the start so I’m sharing them with you so that you can be a pro from the beginning:
The leggings come in two sizes – One Size (OS) and Tall & Curvy (TC). They say OS fits 2-12 and TC 10-22. The TC leggings are longer and more generous in the tush and legs but they are not loose. When buying OS leggings in particular I saw people were asking if they were made in China, Vietnam, Korea etc.. I learned this is because all of the ones not made in China can be sized smaller. I got the leggings in OS at first and found I could fit in the ones from China no problem, Vietnam too but they felt a bit snugger but still good, Indonesia was slightly too small.
Here I am in a grey Irma with LuLaRoe leggings, this pair is one of my favorites (psst those leggings TC size)
I recently switched to the TC leggings even though I’m just under 5 4″ but I wear size 10-12 pants. I wanted the extra room without having to worry about it being too tight or worrying about shrinkage in the wash. The TC leggings are long on me but they gather nicely at the ankle or you can fold the bottoms. They are loose in the waist but not sagging and they fit nicely everywhere else, I do have big calves. I like not having to worry about shrinkage in the dryer as I have the room in the TC leggings.
With all of the other styles I have found that you need to ask how stretchy an item is as the materials can vary.
My first Amelia dress, this is a size medium as it’s quite stretchy, however another Amelia I bought is in large as it’s not as stretchy.
Consultants like Jenni & Jade are there to help and they are thrilled to do so. Ask them those questions before you buy, they will let you know. Most allow you to put “sold pending question” in their Facebook Page before you commit to buying. If you buy and find out it doesn’t fit, make sure you keep the tags on, they are all willing to exchange.
Here’s the first Azure skirt I bought. They are comfortable and I’ve been learning that the Azure and the Maxi skirt can be worn several different ways!
As you can see from all the photos there’s a variety of styles available from LuLaRoe. I did start with a lot of black, white and grey but I’ve been moving onto colors and patterns. Every style I’ve tried is comfortable, so comfortable that they’ve got me wearing skirts and dresses! I’m looking at the Julia or the Nicole next and maybe a few more Perfect Ts. Sorry I don’t have a photo of me in the Perfect T yet.
Here is the Sarah Cardigan from LuLaRoe.
You can tie the Irma up on the side for a different look. This pairs nicely with the leggings or the Azure skirt.
Did I mention how much I love the Randy top? That’s what I’m wearing below on a recent press trip with the family 🙂
Excuse my very frizzy hair but it was hot and a bit humid in Israel which is wear this photo was taken. I’m wearing my first Classic T here. I brought along the classic, a few Irmas, the Sarah cardigan and some leggings on this press trip as I need to be comfortable. I’m so glad I did because we walked a lot, like 20,000 steps+ each day. I know I had my FitBit on.
I’m packing for our next press trip and there’s a whole lot of LuLaRoe in my suitcase! Thanks Jenni & Jade for creating my obsession but hey I’ve got some fabulous cloths that I can look good, feel good and be comfy in! Make sure to check out Jenni & Jade’s page at: https://www.facebook.com/groups/lularoebelles/. There’s never any pressure to buy but things move quickly as the ladies buy what they like right away before they lose it. Now I did mention a giveaway right? Jenni & Jade are going to give a lucky lady a Maxi skirt. The giveaway is going to start in the next day so make sure to come back and check for the update, we’ll post a link to it here!
I didn’t have time to get a picture of me wearing them but below is a Maxi skirt I bought from Jenni & Jade and the Azure skirt I showed earlier 🙂 Both are going cruising with me.
