Make Math Magical with Potions and Dragons

My 7-year-old actually loves numbers. We've been learning about numbers together for so long he is already easily grasping multiplication and division with lower numbers. However, his attention can waver in school and he struggles with other math concepts like measurements, patterns, and more. So we were so excited to try OSMO's latest Game Math Wizard. It really helps to make math magical so even my 4-year-old is learning basic math concepts in an endlessly fun way.

It is important to note that it is currently not compatible with the new Fire HD8 launched in May of 2020. You can have many kids with their own profiles on one account which is very nice. I just log in with my info and we choose which child is playing. I can also set goals, learning times, and track their progress! It's great to see them progress at their own pace and having fun.

Brewing Potions or Caring for Dragons

OSMO Make Math Magical

There are two main games currently available for Math Wizard. We loved Math Wizard and the Magical Workshop. This was where my kids created potions to solve problems with the local residents within the game by solving math problems. My kids learned how to add and subtract up to 120, place values, counting, and how to compare numbers. Math Wizard and the Secrets of Dragons was just as fun with my kids learning measurements, how to use a ruler with both inches and centimeters, how to add lengths, and how to estimate lengths.

Make Math Magical According to the Curriculum

OSMO Make Math Magical

Math Wizard is an educational app that my kids love.  It was also fully developed with current school teaching methods in mind. This means that what they learn at home doesn't conflict or counter school-learned math, but supports it! It also helps me, as a mom, to support my child's education by better understanding how they are learning math in school because it is so much different than how I learned as a child.

Don't forget to PIN it!

OSMO's Math Wizard makes learning math for kids magical! Kids learn math concepts in a fun and engaging way that will have them wanting more.

  1. How I wish I'd had something like this when I was in school. Math was always my greatest downfall. Not even math, just simple arithmetic. I still have trouble - need to use a calculator for everything!

  2. I am finding that games are good ways for me to help my grandkids with their math skills. This game looks so engaging that it would keep their attention as they were learning.
