Making time for self care & Giveaway!

Have some Me time and We time it’s all about self care

#ChurchandDwight – Psst there’s a giveaway too open to Canada Only ends 3/12

As busy parents whether you work from home, outside the home or are an stay at home parent, we’re all busy and sometimes we don’t think about self care. Sometimes we have to start with small steps from taking a short break to just sit down and enjoy that cup of coffee without guilt to having a date night (or afternoon) with your partner.

My favourite family photo taken just this past Christmas.

Christmas 2016

For myself it’s knowing when to get off my computer and clear my mind from all the work related everything. In addition to that as I work from home I sometimes need to put blinders on as to what needs to be done around the house and just take 15-30 minutes to myself to relax. Sometimes just taking a nice hot bath or shower, doing my hair and making myself feel good with how I look, makes me feel better overall.

For those days that I don’t have a lot of time to fuss with my hair but want to just have it look fresh and styled I use Batiste™ Dry Shampoo Original to eliminate excess oil. It’s a must have in my hair care arsenal. I also like to use Nair™ WAX READY-STRIPS for Bikini & Underarm with Nourishing Coconut Milk Oil: no warming or rubbing required, just peel and place! The new medium size strip is perfect for the bikini area.

Hubby and I both work for ourselves and we work a lot of hours so sometimes we forget about our “we time” too let alone our “me time”. That is why this year we’ve decided that at least every quarter we’re having a date night or afternoon. The time of day doesn’t matter, we each will take turns planning the date time and just enjoy each other’s company whether it’s going to a movie, out to dinner, hiking a trail or going to the spa (ok that is one I’m planning). It will be time for us to just enjoy each other’s company and not think about work, housework or anything but that.

To help keep us going with our busy work and life schedules we need all the help we can get with staying healthy and getting proper nutrition. I like to supplement our nutrition with vitamins. Vitafusion Men’s and Women’s Multivitamins: are specially formulated for him and her to help maintain good health.  These gummy vitamins are a fusion of essential vitamins, minerals and naturally sourced fruit flavours. Hubby really enjoys these ones as he’s picky about how vitamins taste.

Last but not least for those days where you’ve worked too hard or are maybe just feeling your age we always have RUB™ A535 Anti-Inflammatory: providing targeted pain relief, this product will reduce muscle aches and ensure you are feeling your best.

Now onto the giveaway, one lucky person will receive this great prize pack valued at approximately $70.
