With the Master Lock Bluetooth Padlock you can protect what matters to you the smart way, bluetooth smart. These bluetooth padlocks are now a must in my home for several reasons. To start we have not one but four sheds on our property, can you imagine trying to keep track of keys for all four with different people in the family accessing them? I can it was a pain, people would forget to put the keys back in the designated spot, they got lost and who knows where they ended up. Regular ombination locks that we looked into just weren't strong enough. This Master Lock Bluetooth Padlock eliminates the need for keys as you can open via your phone! If you don't have your phone on you that's okay too youc an open it via the code on the touch pad.
Now you may wonder why do we have so many sheds? Well that leads to me one of the other many reasons we like these bluetooth padlocks. My husband works at various job sites, he's a contractor for residential and commercial work and when his equipment, supplies and tools aren't at a job site, you've got it they are in our sheds built just for his equipment. He's a small business owner so he doesn't have an "office" outside the home. Having them in the sheds is convenient for him as his day always ends at we well home.
These locks are sturdy and big, they're not meant for say school lockers, they would be too big. However Master Lock also has an indoor Bluetooth lock that would be great for lockers etc.. To give you an idea of size the the phone below is an iPhone 6+ next to the OUTDOOR Bluetooth Padlock.
He is now also using these fabulous padlocks at some of his job sites where they have storage lockers. The best part is he can via the app assign access to certain people and he doesn't have to be on site to do it. It goes even a step further, if for some reason he doesn't want anyone messing around with whatever was left behind after hours he can ave it so that their access is only during the day. Seriously how cool is that?
It is so easy to open and close the padlock too. You just open the app, it counts down how long you have to open the lock and when that light changes colors you open it. If you're not onsite and want to open it for someone one they can see it's getting ready to open when it lights up and goes from blue to green. What a great concept for that outdoor storage unit. I like that it is bluetooth. Making unlocking it so much easier, especially if you forget the key or the combination. I like that it is weatherproof and you can buy a smaller unit for school top lockers.
SHEDS! Duh. When I first saw this lock, I thought about our camping trips and needing to lock our ATVs at night with a cable and a padlock. This would keep us from having to cut our locks off to rescue our quads when we lose keys. But SHEDS!! I have 4 sheds on my property, too. We are in the middle of converting the 3 car garage into an apartment for my grandma, so we had 3 matching, 8x12 sheds build and concreted in to hold all of our extra household belonging and my husband & son's workshop supplies. We also had a matching shed made from the leftover materials to hold the stacks and stacks of HAY for our mini horse and mini donkey! We don't even have locks on any of them!! Just carabiner clips to keep them shut. But what about when we go out of town?! Locks hadn't even crossed my mind! And if the house/pet sitter needs access ... bluetooth to the rescue! I need 4 of these, please. And an extra, just because.

Very nice not having to mess with keys. Keys have a way of constantly being misplaced at our house.
I like that it has Bluetooth and you can unlock it using an app. I would love to have both the indoor and outdoor padlock.
This lock is genius. I love it. I love how I can control it from my phone. Now the true question is how many do I need? Definitely need one for my Trump sign, one for my basement door, and one for my storage unit!

Master Lock is a trusted brand that we have used for years. The best thing about this new type for me would be, no key! How amazing is this?
I love how there is no key to keep up with, no number passwords to remember and like it or not we all keep our cell phones on us and use them constantly, I use my phone from morning to night, I literally do everything on it from school, couponing, and making entries!! 🙂

Hey Alicia, they are cool locks, this particular one is way to big for a school locker though. Their indoor bluetooth padlock is suitable for lockers.

This one is too big for gym lockers, it's made to be used outdoors for larger units. They do carry an indoor bluetooth one that's perfect for lockers.
