How do you support your little royal or rebel to choose their destiny? What do I mean by that? Well as a mom of a young teen whose just finding here way through high school I want to encourage her to well be just her. It’s not easy as well know there’s always peer pressure but I believe it’s important to support our children, encourage them to be themselves, stand up for their morals and just know that they can choose their own destiny.
Whether they want to be a royal who believes it’s their duty to follow their destiny and can’t wait for their happily ever after or the rebel who wants to rewrite their story and live their own live. They believe everyone should be able to choose their own happily ever after. Either way they are just being themselves and it’s all good.
Apparently both my daughter and I are royally rebellious because we want the best of both worlds so we’re a little royal and a little bit rebel too. We’re rewriting some of the chapters in our story and embracing the parts that we like :). You can find out if you and your child are royal, rebel or a bit of both with this fun quiz at Ever After High’s site HERE
No matter what my royally rebellious teen wants to be I just want her to be true to herself and it’s my ahem duty (guess that’s my royal side) to support her in following her dreams.
