Welcome to the Minutes With Me Monthly Activity Kits for Parents #Review
Minutes with Me is a fun and engaging kit that parents can do with their children. You can spend time with them while they learn and most of all have fun. Quality time with our children is priceless. Read on to find out what our reviewer April and her children thought of this wonderful kit.
I believe Elizabeth Stone describes the parent/child relationship well when she said:
Making the decision to have a child is momentous. It is to decide forever to have your heart go walking around outside your body. ~ Elizabeth Stone
Along with being your heart, your child is yours to teach and encourage. As parents, we can never spend too much time with our children. That is why Minutes With Me is such a charming concept.
About Minutes With Me:
Minutes with Me LLC was born out of founder Michelle Kendall’s desire to maximize time with her own children. Michelle wanted to capture teachable moments in those critical developmental years. As a young mother, she wanted to create something that would provide educational, easy-to-use, and most of all, fun activity ideas to do with children.
Minutes With Me Monthly Parenting Kits contain:
- 4 Activity Cards - includes Car Talk & Chit Chat, My Masterpiece art ideas, Singing Time and Nursery Rhymes, Vocabulary Words, and Kitchen Time recipes.
- 4 Bingo Cards
- 30 Game Cards - Go Fish and Concentration Memory Game
- Subway Art with easel
- Additional month-themed activity
Our family recently received the February Minutes With Me Kit with a Valentine's Day theme. It was filled with ways to spend quality time with my children, from scrapbooking to learning the planets in our solar system! I was impressed by the thought and creativity that went into the kit.
One of my favorite pieces in the February activity kit was the Subway Art piece. It provides a positive thought to display in your home each month. Our thought was "do all things with LOVE." It has impacted the children in such a positive way. I must admit it has sparked a few good character building conversations this week!
Later this month we will be creating valentines to share with each other and our friends. My youngest daughter has really enjoyed the "My Masterpiece" section where she can draw, stamp, cut and learn how to scrapbook. My son liked the card games best, especially Bingo. It's funny how such a simple game can be so much fun!
These Pretzel Hearts are just one of the fun recipes we hope to try to make later on. Don't they look delicious?

If you are thinking "how can I possibly add another activity to our busy schedule?" I have been there! Allow me to share what has worked for us. Scheduling! Children need structure and scheduling gives them direction. Try scheduling half of your day in 30 minute intervals. If you spend 30 minutes a day on Minutes With Me, that is more than an hour that you can never find the time for. It works! You'll be pleasantly surprised by what gets accomplished, even if 15 minutes is all you can do at first. Your children will be so happy that they have your undivided attention. Moms are busy, believe me, I can relate! Be sure to schedule your minutes with them!
There are so many ready-made ideas to assist you in getting the best results out of each Minutes With Me kit. I can see how easy it will be to fill an entire month with all of the suggested activities. I can't wait to see what the March kit will contain! It has been a pleasure teaching my children with the simple concepts all while making fond memories for our future!
Thank you April for such a wonderful review. You can find out more about April on our About page HERE.
