About Jake and the Never Land Pirates Who Shook the Hook Game!

This is a fun game to play with kids ages 4 & up and both boys and girls will love it!

Captain Hook is snoozing in his hammock, surrounded by all the treasure he’s nabbed from Jake and his pirate crew. Spin the spinner to choose your challenge, then use the sword, the fishing pole, or the shovel to pluck a piece of treasure! But steady as she goes–you need to grab the loot without sending Hook tumbling into the water where Tick Tock Croc awaits. This imaginative, play-packed game is sure to be a hit with clever little pirates.

I love that this game encourages children to think for themselves, plan and be more strategic and about taking turns and playing together! It's not every pirate for themselves as they can encourage each other and help each other out! My daughter is 11 but she had lots of fun playing a leader by showing the younger children in our family and some our child care how to play the game. I think she liked playing it as well but she wasn't quite ready to admit although her giggles gave her away 🙂

There are like many games some pieces to keep track of for clean up time so just remind the children to remember to get all the pieces other than that it's a fun game that the children can catch onto fairly quickly without getting bored and it also helps build up their physical dexterity. After all you have to have a steady hand to use the sword or the fishing pole to get that treasure without toppling over Hook into the water. I noticed that if the children didn't succeed the first time they tried to nab the treasure that they took it a little slower the second time around and tried to be more patient. Now how wonderful is that a game that also helps children learn a little patience and is fun!
