I know many of you are like me and have several social network accounts between Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, Pinterest, Stumbleupon and oh so many more. It can and is a challenge to manage them all and I will admit that I simply don't manage them all. For Powered by Mom I stay on top of Facebook (my not so secret addiction) page although I don't always keep up with my personal page and I'm on Twitter daily but I have to admit Twitter has never been my favorite social network. I don't feel the interaction on Twitter like I do on Facebook or for my professional connections I see more interaction on Linkedin.
More times than not my other networks fall to the wayside as I simply don't have time to do them all, they're all a full-time job it seems and I already have two full-time jobs don't need another one (in case you're wondering my 2 jobs are running my blog, my retail website, bookkeeping for mine and my husband's business that's one full-time job haha and #2 being a wife and mom another full-time job or five :)).
When I was asked to look into this site MyLife.com I was intrigued. With MyLife you can manage all of your communications as it pulls together all your email messages and social network updates, conveniently and confidentially, on one FREE dashboard. It also allows you to monitor and control your personal information out there and let you know who's viewed your profile. In today's world you have to be more cautious there is too much information available on us that we don't know about. I'm shocked sometimes at how many "friend" requests I get from total strangers on Facebook and yet I have stricter security settings than others do on my personal Facebook page.
Last but not least if you're looking to make new business connections and/or personal ones you can also do this on MyLife. I haven't personally tried this out yet, I've just been checking out the website but my next step is to try out the free dashboard to pull all my social network updates together for me. For free I'm willing to give it a try.
Feel free to check out this short video from MyLife to find out a little bit more about what they do.
