Me Time with My Netflix Must Watch List
I know it’s a busy time of year for everyone and that goes double for me. With the work I do it’s my busiest time of year, I work 12-18 hour days and while I may work from home it doesn’t make me any less busy. With all this hard work though I try to remember that I need a break, I need well “Me Time” Part of my “Me Time” is getting cozy on my couch with my favourite blanket, either my chihuahua or my cat on my lap, a coffee or hot chocolate and either catching up on some of favourite Netflix shows or discovering some new ones. I have Must Watch List that I save for my “Me Time”.
On my list is a show that they’ve brought back for a special four part series. I’ll give you a hint, here’s an awesome mug that Netflix sent me to celebrate the four part series that premiered on Netflix November 25th.
If you weren’t a fan of the original series you might not know the significance of that mug. If you were then you got it right away. I’m patiently (not) waiting while I watch the original series with my now teen-aged daughter. It’s the Gilmore Girls a Year in the Life. For those who don’t know Melissa McCarthy was a part of the original cast and I’ve heard she is on the special series, I’m dying to find out!
I’ve also got “The Crown” on my list. The Crown tells the inside story of two of the most famous addresses in the world — Buckingham Palace and 10 Downing Street — and the intrigues, love lives and machinations behind the great events that shaped the second half of the 20th century. Two houses, two courts, one crown.
For something a bit different I’ve also got Glitch on my must watch list. When Senior Constable James Hayes, a police officer in the small town of Yoorana, is called out to the local cemetery in the middle of the night, he makes a discovery that turns his world upside down. Six people have inexplicably risen from the dead in perfect health.
Last but not least is Paranoid a Netflix original. Jimmy Arlen is hearing those voices in his head again. How do you defeat that which you cannot see? When a woman is brutally murdered on a playground, a group of detectives find themselves drawn into a dark conspiracy as they search for the killer. She was a simple country doctor and mom. But behind her murder lies a global billion-dollar industry. And more bodies.
I know it’s quite a weird variety, eclectic if you will and that’s me, after all it’s about my Me Time. Thanks to Netflix for providing entertainment for my “Me Time” during my crazy, busiest season of the year. Now it’s time to select something from my Netflix Must Watch list.
I’m a Netflix Stream Team member but as always all opinions are 100% my own.
