I’m sharing my favourite Netflix shows from this summer and ones that I’m looking forward to a new season or they’re brand new.
Brand new to Netflix this summer was Stranger Things. Be warned you’re going to binge watch because it’s that good. I could not stop watching it. It’s set in the 80s and there’s lots of references to 80s type of stuff you’ll have to watch for but it’s not for the faint of heart. There’s scary stuff, sci-fi like and just an interesting story line. now we wait to hear when Season two will happen.
While we already love Netflix, I’ve had a bit more time to explore some shows that are new to me and some are new to Netflix. We cancelled our cable at the start of summer and are never going back because we don’t need to with Netflix. I discovered some fabulous new shows and am anticipating start dates of new seasons of old favourites and some brand new shows. So I thought I would share them, these are not kid picks but mom and dad picks, some may be suitable for kids but double check. The kids have lots of shows and we usually share quite a bit for the kiddos but this time it’s all about the grown-ups favourites.
I’ve been waiting for season 5 of Longmire and it’s almost here, it will be out on Netflix on September 23rd, 2016!
Up next is a brand new show in the Marvel line. If you know us you know we love Marvel anything. We enjoyed watching Jessica Jones where we were introduced to the main character for the latest and greatest in the line-up Marvel’s Luke Cage which premiers on September 30, 2016 and we can’t wait!
Last but not least I got hooked on Canadian produced show called Dark Matter. It’s definitely for sci-fi lovers. Netflix has Season One and I admit I binged watched. Not sure where I found the time but I did. If you like sci-fi check it out.
There are many more but those are my favourites that as mentioned I’ve either watched or am looking forward to checking them out. It’s amazing what we get for such a low cost from Netflix, love it.
