  1. I have 2 cats and three dogs...and they are all quirky...my latest tidbit is that my Persian likes to stand on her hind legs, and lean against a wall... and pee in her box like a tiny old drunken man... it is AWFUL... lol..but pretty funny the first time we saw her do it.. Now it's just another weird thing these goofy animals do... 🙂

  2. When he wakes up, Otis, our beagle/lab mix, shakes so hard that his big ears flap furiously. His nickname is Uncle Flappy. When he flaps like that, you can hear him all over the house!

  3. My cat Jasmine is a polydactal cat which means she has 6 toes on both of her front paws instead of 5:) Oh, & she is named after Princess Jasmine in the Aladdin movie..

  4. I have a 4 year old Shih tzu that fights his crunchy treats before he eats them. He barks at them, tosses them around, and rolls all over them before he settles down and eats it.

  5. Our ten year old golden lab, Diesel lets my kiddos do anything to him. He is so laid back. They dress him up. They used to ride him like a horse but he has athritis in his hips so we discourage that now. But he is our best friend.

  6. My oldest cat Jordi loves to play fetch with his toy mice. He will bring me or my husband his mouse when he is ready to play and we will throw it and he runs, gets it, and brings it back to us. We do it till he is worn out. It is too cute!

  10. One of my cats, Solo, likes to get on our shoulders and lick our hair and rake his claws (gently) through our hair like he is styling it! Especially when it is wet!

  11. When it's time to walk, my terrier goes to the door and jumps - straight up - higher than the doorknob. It cracks me up and I love watching her. It's like she has pogosticks for legs. Boing, Boing, Boing, Boing.

My chihuahua won't lay down unless there is a blanket for her to get under. So there's a blanket on all the dog beds, and on every sofa, chair, & bed. I even have to take one outside for her if we are going to be out for a while. Even in the summer, she gets under a blanket when she lays on the patio.

  19. We have outdoor cats. It started when we put out snackies for the street kitties. Led to them depending on us. 2 sets of litters were born on our porch. 2 have decided to stay and adopted us. Plus, we have the regulars who come by at the scheduled feeding times. Any food can help the cause. thnx! E

  21. My black male cat is about 8 years old now. He has a bad habit of chewing the fur off on his front legs and small patch on his side. I've taken him the vet and at first we thought it was allergies but shots didn't make a difference. Then we thought it could be fleas but nope that wasn't it either. Finally the vet has decided he is a nervous cat and the fact he has some Siamese mixed with him doesn't help either. Either way he's still my boy and I wouldn't trade him.

  22. My cat Leo is sort of odd. He likes strawberries, pineapple and apples. He also collects socks and piles them up outside my bedroom door at night if I don't let him in, or in front of the fireplace. Once he was caught dragging around my daughter's shoe...lol He steals the socks out of the dirty clothes basket or if the kids leave their socks lying around the house, he finds them. So weird.
