She has had so many challenges but she has held her head high and done what needed to be done with grace. Simply put, she has become one heck of a woman!

My daughter is my hero. She over came the death of her precious little sister in a fire. She became a drug addict afterward but over came addiction. Now she is a wonderful single mother who works her butt off to support her 2 young daughters. She's also a good Christian. Yep, she is my hero!

My hero is my son. No matter what kind of a day I am having he somehow manages to make me smile. He may have autism and need me, but I think I need him more. I am so blessed to have him in my life. Of course we have our times but though it all we both know how much each of us means to each other. I try doing everything I can for him, but it's hard for a single parent. Someday though I plan to take him on a nice trip, including Cabela's and shop, dine and see things we have never seen before!

My hero is my husband. He lost his dad when he was little, and his mom when he was only 17. She did a great job of raising him, and he is the sweetest man I know. He is always ready to jump in and help anyone whenever he can. And he always tries to find the good in everyone. And he loves cats (very important to me lol).

John Walsh is my hero and has been for many years. A man that can overcome his grief enough to immerse himself in the very darkness that took his son to help others deserves the utmost respect.
My hero is my father. He was a disabled US Army Helicopter pilot and the best Dad a girl could ever ask for. He passed away in 2007 and not a day goes by that I don't miss him.
