Let’s Help Wilbur Find a Home! Pet Adoption of the Day #AdoptDon’tShop
ATLANTA, GA: These boys are on the verge of getting split up. Friends, we really (really, really!!) need your help! Armani and Sparky are friendly, adorable, and very bonded brothers. They have been sitting in the open-intake city shelter for months. The staff has tried so hard to keep them together, but no adopters are stepping forward and the last rescue said they could only take one. PLEASE SHARE!!!
Meet Armani and Sparky
The shelter wrote, “We are getting pressure from management to separate these two because they have been here so long and we’ve been unable to find a rescue to pull both or an adopter who will adopt both. This will be our last effort to get them out together…. otherwise we are going to be forced to separate them, which will break my heart as clearly they love each other.
Armani (11 years old) and Sparky (8 years old) have been at the shelter since March 15th. Their owner fell on hard times and could not reclaim them. They actually came in with a third brother who sadly passed at the shelter due to major medical issues.
They are both quite spunky and get around well. They are very people friendly and have been accepting of new dogs that they have met. They love going outside to the play yards to hang out.
Armani is the older pup and is a little slower. He’s really friendly and he loves affection. Sparky is more independent but will come over to say hello. He loves to fetch the tennis ball. They both lay on the ground and wiggle in the dirt to scratch their backs and it’s adorable.
They are both love bugs. We are really hoping to get them adopted together as they are a bonded pair.”
To adopt Armani and Sparky, please contact Amy at Fulton County Animal Services.
