Powered by Mom Blog was on Word of Mom Radio

Well owner and creator of Powered by Mom Michelle was on the radio 🙂

I had no idea what to expect as I've never been on a radio show before but I was very excited when my friend Renee Sullivan the wonderful lady who introduced me to the Shaklee products invited me to join her as one of 3 women to be interviewed. Dori DeCarlo the host of Word Mom Radio was fun, engaging and very passionate about spreading the word on healthier living (using non-toxic cleaning products, supplements & nutrition we put in our bodies & more) and helping out MOMpreneurs like myself and Renee.

Well the "interview" was more like a girl's coffee time break and I mean that in the best way possible. We were laughing (a lot) but also sharing our stories on health and nutrition and more. Renee, Megan and I of course talked about our experiences with the Shaklee products as we believe in the quality of this company's products. I shared how Renee and I first became acquainted because I wanted to find out more about Shaklee. I also shared how improving my family's nutrition. In particular my daughter who used to get sick a lot how I changed things with yummy and nutritious smoothies, other healthier eating options and incorporating high quality supplements such as the kids ocean wonders, smart chews and a few other natural supplements (for all of us) that we had the best year ever and more so for my daughter for NOT getting sick. So much so other parents were commenting to me how my daughter Sian had such a great year for not being sick.

I could go on but it was a wonderful ladies chat about important topics that are near and dear to my heart and as all of us on the show. Thank you Dori, Renee & Megan for a wonderful time and I hope others get to hear more about our passion and start to look into healthier nutrition and living for themselves too!

You can see what our "topic" was about on Mom Talk Radio HERE. I'm also happy to share my experiences on how we've made improvements in our eating, nutrition and health any time, in fact I've done some posts where I provide some tips. You can check out Take a Little Flax to start and if you're interested in finding out more about why I like Shaklee leave me a comment, I don't try to "sell" to people I just share my experiences and let you decide from there. You can also check out my Shaklee site to learn a little more about the products and quality of them at Healthy Living-Powered by Mom. You might be surprised at how just a few little changes can make a BIG difference for your health.

Feel free to share any thoughts or questions below I love to hear from you!

  1. Michelle,
I had a blast doing this show with you. I hope you get the chance to be on her show again. 90 minutes just seemed to fly by in an instant. I like that you shared about your passion for health and your daughter's success with Shaklee's nutrients. Congratulations.
