  5. My mother and I are estranged. I dread these Mothers Day and Father Day periods where sponsors (and bloggers) want us to wax poetic about our parents. The family situation is not always healthy or ideal, and mine was one of those. So I'd say I'm sorry you weren't a better parent and a better person. Sadly that is the best I could possibly do.

    • However, I should add, I have four AMAZING adult children and five awesome grandchildren, so we are breaking the cycle and doing GREAT! I am so lucky and happy to have them.

  6. I tell my Mom all the time that I love her. She knows how much she is appreciated but I still try and show her all the time.

  10. I tell my mom how much I love her and appreciate everything she has every done for us and we usually take her out to dinner on Mother's Day.

  11. I have a close relationship with my mom that I really value. I try to show her love in little ways all the time and by spending time with her.

  12. I would help her weed all of her flower beds and just spend the day with her doing whatever she wanted! She like when I give her pedicures too!
