What is a PURE room you may be wondering?
Well I’m so happy to be able to tell you a bit more at what a PURE room is all about.
PURE rooms are available for allergy sufferers at several hotel chains but let’s start by explaining what the PURE process is all about.
PURE rooms go through a “7-step purification process treats every surface, including the air, removing up to 99% of pollutants so you can breathe easy, and rest peacefully. PURE’s leading air-purification system protects you from airborne irritants, and eliminates odors at the source, leaving your room smelling fresh and clean. PURE’s unique, hypoallergenic mattress and pillow encasements provide soft, breathable coverings to protect you even further. Carpets, upholstery and all surfaces are deep cleaned and specially treated. The rigorous maintenance is performed regularly to keep PURE Room’s certified allergy-friendly.”
As an allergy sufferer myself whose particularly sensitive to dust and pollen I was very impressed to read about this process and the fact that there are hotel rooms that go through this process. These allergy friendly hotel rooms are a treasure for allergy sufferers everywhere as I know that anyone who has allergies will know what I’m talking about. It’s a breath of fresh air, literally.
The PURE rooms though are not just for those of us with allergies but for everyone really. The PURE rooms are treated with a state of the art air purification system that is registered with the FDA has a class II medical device and eliminates 98%+ of bacteria and viruses. In addition to this amazing sound purification system all rooms also use “special micro-fiber hypoallergenic pillowcases and mattress covers. All of these help to reduce allergies triggered by dust mite allergens”.
The PURE rooms are not 100% allergen or dust free of course but it sounds like they come darn close and probably have less allergens than my own home :). Fortunately you can now purchase some of the products used for your own home! If you’re interested check out the PURE store.
It’s nice to know that we have cleaner and healthier options for our travel needs and now for our home too!
Do you or someone you know suffer from allergies or asthma? If so what do you do to reduce your triggers? I love to hear from people please feel free to comment.
