Family Game Night is Back and Better Than Ever!

I have long dreamed of my kids, my sweet hubby, and myself sitting around the table one night a week playing our favorite games. We made a go of it but didn’t have a very good variety of games and it fizzled out from boredom over the same game. Ravensburger has the remedy for our melancholy game night! The games they offer are fun for the whole family and educational at the same time.

Science X Smartscope:

This was my oldest sons absolutely favorite! The fact that he HAD to bring his smartphone to family game night had absolutely nothing to do with… This game is truly amazing. It enables you to literally magnify the world around you! You will notice some pretty awesome details on things you use or see everyday. My oldest is totally geared towards science, this game was perfect for him!

Monkey Beach:

All three of my kids, ages 13-8, enjoyed this game. It’s a super option for those times that game night may need to be condensed. It can be easily setup and played in 15-20 minutes.  Monkey Beach is great for families that have a larger range in their childrens ages. Children as young as 3 can enjoy this game, I can’t wait for my 4 year old niece to come over and have a playdate!

Buggaloop:

This game seriously deserves an award for “pure genius” (Is there such an award? If not there really should be!). If you have kids, I’m sure you’ve heard of HEXBUGs! Buggaloop combines the HEXBUG with a super FUN game! Each player rolls the die and tries to get their bugs safely across “the yard” before the HEXBUG is released and begins his path of destruction.  HEXBUG tries to derail your trip and send you back to the starting line.  The first player to dodge the HEXBUG and get their bugs across the finish line wins! Great fast-paced game that will have everyone standing and cheering! Honestly, I love playing this game just to watch the HEXBUG go thru the tunnels – so COOL!
