Rosacea Awareness Month Guest Giveaway ends 4/22 CAN
Did you know that April is Rosacea Awareness month? I had no idea and I have rosacea so I was very excited to learn about it and this new product to help those of us with rosacea! A dermatologist right here where I live in Vancouver has developed a skin care line specifically formulated to help this condition and sensitive skin in general! Not only has a Vancouver dermatologist created a product for those of us who suffer from rosacea but they use beta-thujaplicin extracted from British Columbia’s Western Red Cedar tree to soothe rosacea and sensitive skin. Wow I knew my province had a lot to offer but this is simply fascinating! Read on to find out more and of course enter the giveaway!
Riversol Skin Care Solutions Inc. is the first Canadian cosmetic company to use beta-thujaplicin extracted from British Columbia’s Western Red Cedar tree to soothe rosacea and sensitive skin. Vancouver BC, (April 10, 2014) – A chronic, inflammatory and embarrassing skin condition, rosacea, currently affects over two million Canadians. April is Rosacea Awareness Month, dedicated to shedding light on this condition, which has no known cure and where the underlying cause is yet unknown. Enter Riversol and beta-thujaplicin, an effective over-the-counter skin care product developed by a highly respected dermatologist, with the ability to help millions of rosacea-prone sufferers.
“One of the main concerns people with rosacea encounter is a lack of transparency in skin care ingredients. This makes it hard for them to decipher what may be irritating their skin,” said Dr. Rivers. “While there is yet no proven cure for rosacea, patients note how positively their skin has responded to Riversol products within three weeks. Even better, many have indicated that they are no longer self-conscious about their skin.” Patients with rosacea prone skin suffer from low self-esteem and self-confidence – the natural healing components in Riversol unmasks their true beauty. While clinical studies have demonstrated the anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antifungal, and healing properties of beta-thujaplicin, it’s not used in mass-market skin care lines due to the high cost of extraction and the difficulty to stabilize this molecule. Riversol has discovered a method to successfully incorporate beta-thujaplicin in its skin care line – the first product line in North America to do so. Available online at www.riversol.com and through select locations.
I can’t wait to find out more and I know I will be checking out this product as soon as I can so it can help me with my rosacea! Now one lucky person can win a sample pack of Riversol of their very own! Just enter on the rafflecopter below and GOOD LUCK!

I mostly love my skin. It’s far from perfect, but I don’t stand too close to a mirror, nor take too long in front of the mirror, so those quick glances allow me to work with the whole package.
