We all know that in today's world kids and adults alike are looking at one screen or another a lot throughout the day. Sadly though screen use is linked with lower proficiency in problem-solving, social interaction, and communication skills. Let's fight this screen addiction by getting kids early by giving kids fun, interactive options that can teach them coding without using a screen! Enter the Mochi Robotics Kit, an early childhood programming kit that enables kids to learn the basics of coding and computational thinking through hands-on, screenless play. Check out the short one minute video below to see how Mochi works.
Young children will get introduced to coding in a fun, screenless and hands-on way. Kids can learn fascinating facts about our Solar System and explore the Planets while spending hours of quality family time together along with many other wonderful and engaging plotlines.
To compete with the screen, Mochi combines audio-visual feedback, touch, visuals, songs, sounds, and movement alongside story-based, educational content so kids can engage in self-directed play or collaborative and guided learning.
Mochi is the only robotics kit in the world programmed with a stuffed animal bear, and its multimodal functions and story-based sequence appeal equally to boys and girls. The product is also LEGO-compatible, giving kids the creative freedom to tinker and create their coding companion in their own image while extending playtime.
“It’s hard to compete with the immediate gratification of screen-based content. Early childhood is a wonderful time to explore and develop brain plasticity, because early investments in education compound over a lifetime.”
Give young children the gift of exploring their creativity with hands-on fun and engaging Mochi Robotics kits. The whole family can get in on the fun all while taking a much needed break from screens of any kind.
You can order Mochi Robotics kits at a special price on their Kickstarter campaign now HERE but hurry this special campaign is over on November 22, 2019. However, you will still be able to order the kits but it might not be at this special pricing.

My daughter has done screenless coding in kindergarten, and has really enjoyed it. I really like Mochi. It's super cute, and I really like that it is LEGO compatible.
I really like the idea of kids learning the basics of coding without sitting in front of a screen. This is such an innovative idea.
