Powered by Mom Shares Snoopy’s Red Baron Shake Recipe
This Snoopy’s Red Baron Shake is so easy to make we shouldn’t even call it a recipe. Seriously you just throw three ingredients in the blender, hit the button until it’s smooth and top it with whip cream and in our case some dark chocolate shavings too. We have a few optional ideas of course for the toppings because you know us we just can’t resist trying out different things! You should also check out our other Charlie Brown and gang themed snacks like The Great Pumpkin Spice Mocha and the Peanuts Movie Popcorn that you can check out HERE.
A milkshake that’s great for Halloween festivities or all year long.
While we made this Snoopy’s Red Baron Shake for Halloween festivities and watching the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown you can definitely drink this tasty shake any time you want. You can also make it a little more gruesome looking for a more scary Halloween theme by having red liquid dripping down the sides, making the whip cream red if you want and all sorts of fun ideas.
Why did we call it Snoopy’s Red Baron Shake?
While many people call this a Red Velvet shake we liked the idea of a Snoopy Shake. We also wanted to keep it simple and quick and besides the red shake topped with a white whip cream and chocolate shavings just so made us think of Snoopy on his red dog house battling the Red Baron 🙂
Now on to the super quick recipe

Snoopy’s Red Baron Shake
Description
If you don’t have Red Velvet Cake mix but want the red color use red food dye or if you don’t mid it more pink use raspberries or strawberries. If you don’t care about the color use a different cake mix. So many possibilities.
You can also have this with chocolate whip cream
Optional toppings: Coconut flakes, chopped up chocolate bars of choice, caramel sauce.
Anything you would like to try seriously.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup of milk or if you want super rich and cream 1/2 cup of cream (warning it’s super decadent with the cream)
- 3 Large scoops of chocolate ice cream or about 1 1/2 cups
- 2 TBSP of Red Velvet Cake Mis
- Whip Cream for Topping
- Dark Chocolate Shavings or Springs for Topping (optional but you’ll want them)
Instructions
- In a blender put in the first three ingredients and let it blend until smooth.
- Pour into your glass.
- Top with whip cream
- Top with Chocolate Shavings
- Easy peasy done and so tasty.
Nutrition
- Serving Size: 1
I also liked having coconut flakes on top or some chocolate syrup or drizzle because you know chocolate goes with everything!
As mentioned in the recipe above if you don’t have red velvet cake mix then you can try a different flavor like chocolate or vanilla. If you had lemon then use vanilla ice cream instead. Of course in doing so it’s not a Snoopy’s Red Baron Shake but hey it will probably taste good and that’s what counts! What is your favorite shake to make we’d love to read about it, feel free to comment below!
