Kicking the Winter Blues to the Curb with Netflix! #StreamTeam
Well the weather may be gloomy outside but I’m not as I’ve been enjoying in my spare time some fabulous shows and movies on Netflix. I got a total kick out of watching movies like the Inside Man with Clive Owen and Denzel Washington, The Siege and a few more that I saw years ago when they came out but it’s been long enough it’s like watching them for the first time. Either that or my memory is really bad but it was fun to catch things I didn’t the first time I watched the movie years ago.
I’ve made it my goal this year to have more fun, more time for me and more time with family and Netflix helps me with that. It’s my entertainment, it’s my family’s entertainment and it’s available to me at home, when we’re travelling and even on my phone if I wanted to watch on there. I really enjoy snuggling up on my couch though with a bowl of popcorn and watching a good show or movie on our big screen tv. It’s relaxing and I have so much to select from that sometimes that’s the hard part which one to choose!
Beside the oldies but goodies I also got hooked on some new shows, some of which are Netflix originals like Jessica Jones and Daredevil. I’m counting down the days when Daredevil airs season 2 on March 18, 2016. I also watched all of Marco Polo and the first episode of Shadow Hunters Mortal Instruments. For Shadow Hunters they’re releasing an episode each week, it’s killing me to wait lol. My hubby said why did I get him hooked on the first episode and now he has to wait, so I guess that means he liked it too 🙂
My daughter who is 14 likes some of the same shows but she also likes the new Croods on Netflix and their Ever After High series. They truly have something for everyone so it’s now wonder they’re already helping me meet my goal of having more fun. Netflix is such a great price too yet one more reason we love them. What are some of your favourite shows on Netflix?
