Powered by Mom is addicted to Netflix! #StreamTeam
Earlier this month I was literally bedridden for a few days with a nasty cold. I was tired and congested and couldn’t do much but lie around. For someone who never sits around doing nothing that of course drove me crazy. I would go on Facebook to keep up with friends and of course my readers but believe it or not even I can’t be on Facebook all day. I needed something to entertain me and daytime soaps were not even an option, I’m not a fan of them at all.
Well thank goodness for Netflix, how I love thee Netflix. While daytime television might bore me I can not say the same of Netflix. With so many choices between some of my favorite movies and sitcoms to new ones I haven’t seen yet I had endless choices of shows to entertain me. I quickly got addicted to a series a found called Crossing Lines which stars Donald Sutherland and a wonderful cast of European actors I had not seen before along with American actor William Fichtner whom I have seen in other shows and movies.
I finished the first season in 3 days, don’t judge me it’s addicting it’s that good and hey I was really sick remember ;). If you’re Netflix member you already know how awesome it is for such a low monthly cost and if you’re not a member yet you’re missing out, seriously for $8/month you can’t go wrong!
They’ve got something for everyone of every age and you can customize your list etc..
Check out some of these awesome shows for kids that came out this month!
The Adventures of Puss in Boots arrives on Netflix January 16th, starring one of the most celebrated characters for kids. The world’s greatest fighter, lover and milk connoisseur springs into action with comical tales that take him to exotic locations, filled with unforgettable characters. As Puss embarks on adventures that are the stuff of legend, nothing can stand in the way of this swashbuckling hero … except a hairball! Puss in Boots is a great example of an enduring and entertaining children’s tale based on a book. This month we’ve compiled a list of titles that showcase this same tradition of re-imagining and continuing great stories from literature. On Guard!

Thanks for your Information on Thank Goodness for Netflix! I can imagine that it could get addicting! To be able to watch TV shows, movies, etc. We don't subscribe to Netflix. I know it's only $8 a month, however, If you knew how much the "hubby" complains every time the cable bill comes, you would understand why I won't even suggest adding another $8 to the bill! My daughter has it and her kids love to watch the children's shows! Thanks so much for sharing your information on Thank Goodness for Netflix with all of us! You know that I most definitely appreciate it! Thanks again! Michele 🙂
Netflix is just $8 a month? I assumed it was more. I need to get this!
