Chavonne Harvey says
Oh yes I like to make sure my shoes support my feet and hold up for daily exercise activities. I do a lot of zumba. So I replace them as needed. Maybe once every 8 months to a year.
Brandi Dawn says
I do consider it very important. It is also important to have the RIGHT kind of shoe for the RIGHT kind of activity. I update my shoes at different intervals depending on what their use is. I have shoes for climbing, running, crossfit, approaching, casual hiking and of course all of my regular everyday shoes!
adrienne z says
it’s pretty important to change your shoes, but i haven’t been able to. my shoes have had holes in them for quite a few years. single mom never gets to walk down the women’s shoes aisle

I work out regularly and notice that the lining and soles get worn down quickly. They say to get new sneakers every 6 months or so many miles (i can’t remember the number). Unfortunately i don’t follow that advice.
Sarah Oswald says
I think it is important for your shoes to be comfortable and supportive and I probably should replace my shoes more than I do since I wait till they are really worn out before I replace them.
Anita E says
I do think it’s important to buy new walking shoes every once in awhile. Once the shoes have been worn (of course that depends on how often one wears them and how far they walk/run for exercise) I think the shoes aren’t being as supportive/ healthful so you have to get new ones. I delegate my old pair for mowing the lawn shoes. I probably only get new shoes about once a year, which is probably too long to wait.
Traci McCormick says
I think it’s important to wear shoes with support. I don’t buy shoes much because I don’t usually have money for a really good pair.

heather e.g. kaufman says
I should get new ones every year, but they are too expensive.
Amanda Alvarado says
I think it can be beneficial to replace them often but because of the price of good shoes, it’s just not possible to replace them that often (at least for our family). I can’t even remember the last time I bought a good pair of walking/running shoes but then again I rarely wear them!
Joanne Gregory says
I think it is important to switch out shoes but I only buy new ones when the old ones are worn out.

Marti Tabora says
I think it is beneficial to replace your shoes regularly, but sometimes the budget may cause you to wear them a lot longer that you really should. For that reason, I will usually wear mine until I can’t any longer.
