How come every day when I come to update my entries on these giveaways, the entries at the top are ALWAYS the same! They never change! I don’t have a stone’s throw of a shot to win any of these giveaways because I can’t get my points count up and I swear I enter every day! This is so upsetting because I love some of these giveaways and especially the ones that end tonight! Thanks Michele

I’m confused(perhaps it’s the insomnia)? Where I live we have lakes with beaches(some very nice ones too) and I’m certain to have a beach you need a body of water to create it. Perhaps you mean ocean or lake? Either way if there is a clean beach with clean water to be found I will swim there.

Well to be 100% honest, I would not rather swim in either of them. I would rather swim in a pool! At the beach, you never know what you are going to run up against or step on. A Lake is way better than the beach, however, there are most likely all kinds of reptiles swimming in there are well! I don’t want to run into a snake or anything either! YUCK! Thanks for asking! Michele 🙂

Instagram post 2194172479090354467_502869795 I am #grateful for wonderful friendships. They may live thousands of miles away all over the United States (I am in Canada) but as they have proved you don't have to be in close proximity to keep up friendships & support each other. They sent my family and I these beautiful flowers to cheer us up from the loss of our beloved Apollo. #friendsfarandwide #friendships @topnotchblog @susanlbewley @missmollysays @kriskohale @styledecor @simplysherrylblog @foodwinesunshine hugs ladies
Instagram post 2187378363463484823_502869795 It is with great sadness and through tears that I write that we just lost our beloved Apollo. He was hit by a car and didn't make it. We've never lost a pet this way and so early, all of them had been with us for 10 years or more, Apollo was only with us for over a year. He was a special boy, so sweet and crazy at the same time, such a character. We are all beyond devastated, especially my husband as we lost our beloved Luna (she was 15 years old & his constant companion like Apollo) just this past February, to make it even harder he had to go back to work right after losing Apollo this morning.I'm sharing this horrible news because I will be offline for the rest of the week as we try to deal with this loss and our emotions.I like to think that Luna, Little Zeus, Juno and Zeus are all welcoming Apollo over the Rainbow Ridge even though it was far too soon for him to go.

#RemembranceDay2019
Did you know it was a Canadian soldier who wrote In Flanders Field (see author's name below)? ************** In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below. We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.
