I was lucky enough to receive the Garden Bucket from Tomboy Tools. As my hubby has tools of all kinds due to the business he runs I’m quite lucky to have all the power tools and handyman or woman 🙂 tools I need at my disposal. I think it’s important that everyone have some knowledge and experience with the basics when it comes to utilizing tools and better yet if they can be an independent handy person. I’m not quite there with being independent but I know the basics and I can use power drill and power screwdriver when I need to.
Sadly my garden tools were lacking so this cool bucket of garden tools was just what I needed. The bucket picture above is exactly what you would receive and it’s a much better picture than the ones I took of my cool pink tools. Better yet I know hubby won’t be stealing these since they’re pink so I’ve been keeping them in the bucket when I’m not using the. I only recently had the chance to utilize my new garden tool set but it was the perfect time to use the. It was a nice sunny weekend one of the first we’ve had in a while, in fact it was really warm so it was a great time to go outside and garden.
I dug up and pulled out weeds with my new tools and I used the garden snips to cut back some very big bushes. I was surprised at how easily I could cut back the branches with the garden snips as they were quite thick branches and I’ve had trouble in the past with standard garden snips not being strong enough. Usually I’ve had to get our big heavy duty clippers that are like 2 feet long but the ones with my Tomboy tools set did the job and easily of course!
I’m also quite impressed with the reasonable costs of the kits such as the Basics Kit Plus one that we’re giving away. All those tools in one set for such a low cost is indeed a great deal!
Overall I give Tomboy Tools a big TWO thumbs up for reasonable costs, great quality and for encouraging us ladies to be more tool ready 🙂
