Powered by Mom Says Hint Like You Mean It for Valentine's Day
Did we mention that there's also a fabulous sweepstakes of a $1000 Helzberg Gift Card and another prize is a diamond pendant valued at $549? Yep that's right there is so it's time to hint like you mean it.
If you're like me you're not good at hinting at things, I just come right out and say what I'm thinking and what I like and don't like. My hubby when it comes to buying a gift for me would rather I let him know what I like so it works out well :). While I've always appreciated any gift from the heart and would never say anything bad about a gift I figure if you're going to give something to anyone might as well get them something they like. I prefer that when I'm the person giving the gift too.
However for those people who like to be more subtle you can drop hints such as:
- Leave a magazine open to a picture of the item you like
- Leave the window on your computer open to the site where you'd like a gift from or even the item itself
- Have friends or family mention how they saw your eyes light up when you saw that certain item
- My mom god bless her soul would have me tell my dad "I know mom would love this or that dad, trust me" LOL
If you're the person who needs to buy a gift you can utilize some of those hints in return. Ask their friends and other family members, get the kids (if there are any) to find out what he or she likes. Or you can be like hubby and I and just say give me 3 or 4 ideas of what you like and I'll surprise (maybe lol) with one of them.
What tips do you have to hint for that perfect gift? Now for the fun go and enter Helzberg Diamond's amazing $1000 Diamond Gift Card sweepstakes HERE! I love Helzberg, in fact I have two pieces of jewelry from them and my latest one is the picture below it's a Circle of Love Pendant, Isn't it lovely? I didn't even have to hint for it 🙂
Thanks for sharing this. I hope it counts as my daily comment, since it's not one of your contests. I love jewelry. I enter as many jewelry related contests that I see. Hopefully one day, since my husband doesn't take a hint very well. He says no, I say, think it over and get back to me.
