Fight the cold with a Honeywell 360 Surround Fan Heater and the Vicks Germ-Free Cool Mist Humidifier to Help Relieve Cold and Cough Symptoms !

Powered by Mom's Review

We received both the Honeywell 360 Surround Fan Heather and the Vicks New Germ Free Cool Mist Humifidier and just in time too! My office where I work full-time from  home is in our basement and I love my office except it can be quite chilly. It's at the front of the house but as it's a ¾ basement it stays quite cool, too cool in the Winter it seems as lately when I'm at my computer working too long I find my fingers getting cold. I usually keep a sweater on when I'm downstairs too so that does help but I can't be wearing gloves while working on the computer!

Here's my Honeywell heater

My Honeywell heater even though it's compact it heats up my office almost instantly with it's 360 surround fan, it's awesome. When I have it on low it's not loud at all and with the energy saving features it shuts off when it reaches the temperature I've set it for which I love because I would forget to turn it down until I was too warm! Here's some more info on this excellent heater.

Keep warm and toasty with a Honeywell 360 Surround Fan Heater {$30 RV}!

The Honeywell Surround Heat Heater provides energy savings, excellent safety features and the ability to control your comfort all at a reasonable price. It has a unique 360 degree radius design, allowing superior all around heating, or you may adjust it to direct heat in a desired direction. With safety features such as an auto-off hi limit switch, overheat protection, and flame resistant construction, this product is a great addition to any household.

Not long after we received the Vicks Germ Free Cool Mist Humidifier my daughter came down with a cold. She was quite congested, stuffed up nose and was coughing which kept her up at night. I have to admit I didn't think abut the humidifier right away as we've never had one in the house before. Well I can honestly say now I will never go without one! Once I did remember I set it up in her room and put in the Vicks Soothing Sleepy Time VapoPad in it and it was amazing! My daughter had a much better night's sleep, she coughed less and it helped with her congestion. We kept it on during the day too while she was sick and were surprised at how much it helped to clear up her congestion and coughing. We've always used Vicks Menthol rub or cream for children and adults to help us clear our congestion and now we have it in the humidifier with the added benefits of Vicks Humidifier, love it!

It's so easy to use and clean the Humidifier which is wonderful as I remember the humidifier my mom had when I was a kid and it was big, bulky and kind of gross to clean out. I also find that it helps with my allergies as it moistens the dry air clearing my nasal passages. I had no idea that a humidifier could have germ kill UV light so it stays on all day in our main living room to help fight off germs even more!

Fight Germs & More with the Vicks New Germ Free Cool Mist Humifidier {$70 RV}!

Vicks’ new GermFree Cool Mist Humidifier is the first of its kind. The humidifier eliminates up to 99.9% of mold, bacteria, and fungi in the water ensuring fresher, purer moisture through a patented germ-killing UV light chamber.

  4. We only have one pellet stove to heat the house in the house in the winter, the rooms in the back are freezing in the winter and to sit on the toilet will make one scream out from the cold. 🙂 We wash our hands and we find the cold seems to keep the germs from spreading.

  19. Our house was built in the late 1800's and even though we gutted it and put in insulation it takes a lot of propane to keep the house at 64. If my kids complain that they're cold I tell them to get a sweatshirt or snuggle in a blanket, One of those electric, portable fireplaces would be nice for the living room, but they're expensive. This heater would be nice for heating my oldest son's room(we finished a storage space & there's no heat in it) or the office area.

  20. Basically, this winter has been tough. It's all about the layers of clothing. MY son is a teaching assistant & picks up all kinds of germs from the kids. I use holistic stuff cold eeze spray, etc. & for 1this whole year I have been well. I had to throw my other humidifier out because I thought it wasn't clean enough. I would love one!
I have a tiny Honeywell heater...maybe an eighth of the size of yours (LOL)
