Chicken Appetizer for Any Occasion
We love this Warm Bacon Chicken Spinach Dip Bread Ring appetizer for any occasion, in fact, we don’t need a reason to have it unless you count the fact that we just like it so much. It can be enjoyed “just because” or for game or movie night, a reason to gather the family at home and just enjoy your time together because let’s face it, there’s a reason that the kitchen is the most popular room in the house, food brings people together.

Chicken Spinach Dip Ingredients
As my family and I like almost everyone are more isolated at home these days, having a tasty appetizer like this Chicken Spinach Dip is a way for us to sit down together, enjoy a tasty snack and enjoy each other’s company, especially over the holiday season.
Making Memories Together
While things this holiday season may be different and we’re not having guests over that doesn’t mean we can’t still make some wonderful memories with our families. We’ve decided we’re going to do as much as we can together at home to relax, have fun and just enjoy each other’s company and oh yeah some tasty food too.
Appetizers as meals
We love our appetizers, so much so that when we went to a restaurant a lot of times we ordered just appetizers to share amongst ourselves. So we figured there’s no reason we can’t do that at home and try some new recipes and of course make some of our favourites. This Bacon Chicken Spinach Dip Bread Ring is one of our new recipes but I think it’s soon to become a family favourite. To help us prepare for the yummy appetizers we want to make this holiday season (and beyond of course) we like to use the Free Grocery App from Chicken Farmers of Canada (CFC). We’ve been using it for years now and it has made our grocery shopping much easier and certainly more organized. I like to go grocery shopping with a list so that I don’t put in my cart a bunch of items we don’t need or stray to the junk food aisle. If I’m going to make a CFC recipe I can just click on the “add ingredients” to my app and easy peasy it’s all ready to go!
Even before all the craziness of 2020 and the pandemic I preferred to keep my trips to the grocery store at a minimum. So we always tried to stock up as much as reasonably possible in one trip so that we only had to get perishables on a weekly basis. That’s why I love the app to keep me organized, on task and get all the groceries I need for a month or two with the exception of perishables like fresh fruits and vegetables. Nowadays it’s even more practical and safer to make as few trips as possible and their app helps me with that by keeping me organized with grocery shopping and ensuring I don’t forget anything.

Notes
If you have leftovers of this dip you can reheat in the microwave but keep in mind that will make the bread part a bit soggy. The other option is to reheat in the oven which will make the bread part more golden and crispy. We like the latter option and you can see a photo in our recipe post where we reheated in the oven and how it’s more golden etc..
Keywords: chicken spinach dip, warm chicken dip, warm dip, bacon chicken spinach dip, bacon chicken spinach dip bread ring, bread ring, warm bacon chicken spinach dip bread ring
Yum, doesn’t that look delicious?! I can assure you it is so yummy, especially when you first take it out of the oven. We like to consume this one as soon as it’s out of the oven because the smell of it baking makes everyone oh so hungry!
Do you have to include artichokes in the recipe?
You can make this without the artichoke although we love it with them, you might want to add more spinach though if you do. If you can get the artichoke hearts. When using canned/in a jar artichokes just make sure to drain it well and pat dry the artichokes.
This Warm Bacon Chicken Spinach Dip Bread Ring can be very filling just letting you know and in our home it goes very quickly, we so far have not had leftovers. However, as mentioned you can warm it up a few different ways depending on how you like the bread part to be, softer or crispier. You can reheat in the microwave but keep in mind that will make the bread part a bit soggy. The other option is to reheat in the oven which will make the bread part more golden and crispy. We like the latter option and you can see a photo in our recipe post where we reheated in the oven and how it’s more golden etc..
Above is how the dip looked after being reheated in the oven. As you can see the bread part is a darker golden colour and it was more crispy as was the bacon. We liked it this way but it’s entirely up to you as to how you reheat it.

Haha, I’m a pretty simple person. There’s so many fantastic chicken recipes, but you can’t beat classic chicken fingers with plum sauce.
I absolutely love spinach though and try incorporating it in as many dishes as I can. I look forward to trying this recipe out this weekend. Thank you for sharing!

I spot an overachiever here ….lol kidding! There are so many ways that you used the “base” of this recipe and switched some stuff around to make completely different meals. You had me at the chicken and bacon, so all of the other ways were just extra. They all look amazing and I will be trying soon.
