  1. My spring cleaning tip is to use the right cleaning chemical for the right job, because if it isn't right, it not only won't clean right, it may do damage to whatever it is that you are cleaning.

  2. Start with one room at a time so you aren't overwhelmed and get rid of as much stuff and clutter in that room as you can before you clean it! Less stuff and less clutter makes for a lot less cleaning time and a better organized house!

  3. My favorite spring cleaning tip is to use microfiber cloths to dust. They grab the dust and hold it instead of just spreading it around.

  4. My spring cleaning tip (or anytime) is to start cleaning at the top of the room and work your way towards the floor.

  5. I like to hang all of the bedding and rugs outside on the clothesline after I wash them. It works great for curtains too!

  6. When I spring clean everything in the house is cleaned from top to bottom, always start from the top.

  7. Do some cleaning everyday - there is no way you can do it all at once, so break it down into a series of manageable jobs. One closet a day is a phenomenal achievement when that closet is done well.

  8. My best tip is to wash from the top down. That way the dust and dirt that falls, will be cleaned up when it's time to do the bottom. Otherwise, you'd have to wash, wash, wash.

  9. Go slow and be thorough. Take one room at a time. When you are finished with a room, look around and admire all of your hard work.

  12. Sometimes Spring Cleaning can be overwhelming when thinking about it as a whole. Do a little each day, and before you know it, its completed. Also, I like to use real lemon juice (diluted) in my cleaning supplies, the fragrance lasts a long longer.

  13. Get rid of the stuff that you haven't used in awhile. This will make it easier to clean because it won't be in your way anymore!

  16. My apartment is so small that I actually clean once a week and so I don't even call it spring cleaning anymore. My best tip is to get organized, getting all my cleaning supplies together, open up all the windows and dust first, then use the vacuum. Thanks for this chance to win! connie danielson

  17. I open all the windows and pull out the bleach and bleach the kitchen bathroom and laundry room. I also go through closets and get rid of things I have not used in several months. Feels good to have a nice clean house without clutter

  20. To clean walls, I start with a clean sponge mop, making sure that excess water is squeezed out. It makes the job so much quicker and they're evenly cleaned. Just change the mop bucket water often. Especially if there's a smoker in the house.

  28. My tip is to only do one project at a time. I have overwhelmed myself so many times by trying to do too much at once. Nothing worse than having 5 different things going on and you are too tired to finish any of them.
