Manuka Honey & Clover Honey

PRI Honey set

I talked about some of the benefits of Manuka Honey in my last article HERE, it's a rich honey with so many benefits that Pacific Resources sources honey directly from New Zealand bee keepers, who take pride in producing high-quality products. Their Manuka honey is collected with care from native Manuka trees in New Zealand and is a powerful digestive aid when taken internally or a potent anti-bacterial when used topically. Clover Honey is a common perennial pasture plant with a rich, gold colored honey. I found the clover honey does have a lighter, delicate flavor, so I can see why it's popular to have with tea.

Manuka Honey Chocolates with Ginger

PRI Dark Chocolate with ginger

If you love dark chocolate you definitely need to try PRI’s award winning chocolates. They are made by wrapping rich dark chocolate around the finest New Zealand Manuka Honey tested 5+ and adding a touch of mint or ginger. In this case I got the ginger ones but I would love to try the mint ones too, it's going on my shopping list. Now it 's 99% cocoa so it's probably most suited to dedicated dark chocolate lovers but I found after two or three ahem I didn't realize that it was 99%. they are all natural, gluten free, dairy free and kosher with no artificial colors or preservatives, only 3 ingredients: Pure Manuka Honey, Dark Chocolate and Ginger! Yummy and good for me bonus!

Manuka Honey Nuggets

PRI’s Manuka Honey Nuggets are the perfect everyday treat made with Manuka Honey 5+. They come in three fantastic flavors; Manuka Honey, Lemon & Honey and Ginger. Great for sweet tooth cravings, sporting events, dry and tired throats or even to sweeten your favorite hot beverage! Organic, gluten free, no high fructose corn syrup, no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives.

Manuka Honey Lozenges with Propolis

PRI honey drops

Their award winning Lozenges are great for "tackling the tickle". The Lozenges combine the power of CPL 15 Propolis with the soothing qualities of pure New Zealand UMF 10+ active Manuka honey. Made with organic brown rice syrup. Contains no corn syrup, artificial colors or flavorings. I will be taking these with me on our upcoming trip for just in case moments.

Manuka Honey and New Zealand Sea Salt Soap

PRI's Manuka Honey and New Zealand Sea Salt Soap is a new addition! This handcrafted, moisturizing soap brings together the healing power of Manuka Honey, nourishing Botanical Oils and all natural New Zealand solar dried sea salt to bring out the best in your skin. What can I say is that it semlls amazing and my skin does feel silky soft after using it. I like to use it to wash my hands to help my hands from getting dry from dishwashing etc..

There you have it now it's time for you to go and try these fabulous products and remember to shop go to shoppri.com and use discount code: Honey15.

  1. I've never heard of this company prior to your review. However, I just spent quite some time on the site and they certainly have a ton of awesome products on there. I'm particularly interested in the soaps and the honey sticks. I was hoping to see that you had received them and to see what you thought of them. Guess I'll just have to try them for myself, at some point. What you did receive all sounds great... aside from the chocolate. I don't like chocolate at all.

  6. Great information! I have never heard of this company before but will certainly be taking a longer look at website. I did not know that Manuka Honey helped with digestive problems. This could be a big plus for my family as we have a lot of issues with that. I love how they use this honey in their sweets too. Thank you for sharing!

  13. Thanks for the savings code. I already knew that I wanted some of the chocolates, but the caramels sound so yummy too. In fact, all the products that you mentioned are something to be considered. The salt scrub, that is moisturizing sounds great. Darn dirty dishes, huh? 🙂

  14. The salted caramels sound wonderful. Caramels are a favorite and the current trend for salted caramels has been delicious. My oldest daughter would disagree with me and want the chocolates with honey and ginger. She is a fan of dark chocolate and I am sure she would like to try both the ginger and the mint. My other daughter loves honey and uses it almost every day. We like it here, too, and have used the local honey to treat minor scrapes and wounds. Honey and lemon is a treatment I have used for a sore throat and cough. Usually it is in hot tea, but I have taken a spoon of straight honey to help.
Thank you for reviewing these products. They sound wonderful.

  20. You made me LOL " I’m not ashamed to admit that I did not share these with my family" Sounds like something I would do

I am almost ashamed to admit the only honey that I ever had was out of the little bear. The kind you pay a couple of dollars for, and that you don't think it has any thing of value except to make something sweet. But after reading about this honey I think it is time to spread my wings and check out some REAL HONEY!

If you are lucky enough to see a salted caramel icecream, buy it! So, so delicious. So far I've seen two different brands and they were both a limited edition type flavor and excellent.

  68. Ive learned so much about honey by reading so many reviews on it. Last time I had a horrible cold with a cough that wouldnt stop I took honey. It worked so good. As much as I love honey it was a little hard to swallow. I usually put it in my tea or on a biscuit. It worked faster than any cough medicine Ive ever used it. I never knew it was used in soap. Those treats make my mouth water after what you said about the caramels. Honey is just amazing 🙂
