Have a delicious and healthy breakfast in minutes with Quaker
We all know that breakfast is the most important meal of the day but we also have all experienced those crazy mornings where we dash out the door without a good breakfast. We’ve decided to own our mornings with some help from Quaker products we did just that every day since we decided to make mornings less manic. The best part is we get to have delicious and healthy breakfast meals that really don’t take a lot of time to make. If they do well we’ve got a solution for that too that actually turns into a time saver. Read on to find out how we own our mornings with Quaker.
Make a batch of Oatmeal Waffles, freeze and put in toaster any morning you want them.
I am not exaggerating when I say my family is gaga over waffles, seriously we love them. I had no idea until I checked it out on the Quaker site that you could put oatmeal in waffles. If only I had known sooner, the stick to your ribs keep you full for the morning oatmeal in waffles, a perfect combination. So on Sunday I made a big batch of these yummy waffles and my daughter at them three mornings in a row. I might have had a few as well. We each get to put our favourite toppings on them and we’re all happy. If we happen to be running late and have to head out the door right away we can spread some peanut butter on the waffles and eat on the run. Either way it’s a win-win for our stomachs and we get a healthy breakfast. Added nutritious bonus feel free to add chia seeds or flaxseeds to them. I also added vanilla to our waffles and sometimes we throw in a few chocolate chips, seems too tasty to be healthy but it is.
Make breakfast the night before.
One of my other favourite tips besides the yummy batch of waffles also requires some prep the day before but I promise this one is quick. Put some Quaker overnight oats in some jars and the next morning your breakfast is ready for you. we like to top ours off with different fruits and I personally also like some granola on mine too.
Super quick breakfast options with Quaker Granola and Oatmeal
We all of course have those days where we didn’t plan ahead and just don’t have time to put something together that requires more than a few minutes of our time. That’s when we love our Quaker Granola and Oatmeal. Of course with the granola you can just put it in a bowl and add milk and fruit if you want or add it on top of yogurt, one of my favourites.
The oatmeal takes only a couple of minutes once you add hot water, my favourite toppings are peach and coconut yum yum. I also love bananas and raisins with my oatmeal, it’s one of my favourite meals to get me going in the morning.
