My Thoughts
The shape of the Wox dog toy sets it apart from traditional chew toys. The unique form allows dogs and owners to use it a few different ways. When the Wox dog toy hits the ground, it bounces in a direction your dog can’t always predict. This makes playing with the Wox dog toy exciting. Above, is our youngest dog, Trixie. She is a rambunctious, full of life, 1 year old pug and black lab mix. Her energy level is the same as a wind up toy. Wearing her out takes a special kind of exercise. Walking her just isn’t enough. That is why I love playing fetch with the Wox dog toy. It keeps her attention because of the way it bounces around. When playing fetch, right before I throw the Wox dog toy, she sits at complete attention, waiting for that epic toss. Once it goes flying through the air, she chases after it determined to catch it before it gets away from her. She has yet to guess which direction it will bounce, which makes playing catch much more fun.
She seems to have a liking to the center of the toy, where she can bite onto it and hold on. This is great because it leaves the handles free of dog slobber and I can handle the Wox dog toy without getting slobbery myself.
In addition to those great features, this Wox dog toy is incredibly durable. It is soft, but has held up to some sharp dog teeth tearing and biting into it on a regular basis for the past few weeks. The only wear and tear I see on this toy is a spot or two of mud.
My Only Issue…
The only issue I have had with the Wox dog toy is that Trixie has had a hard time sharing her new favorite toy with her sister Izzy. Both of my dogs love this toy. Thanks to the design, they can both get in on the fun and play tug of war with each other. Here is Izzy below getting some one on one time with her new favorite toy while her sister Trixie takes a nap. I think it would be a good idea to stock up on a few of these incredible dog toys.

This does look fun. But I have dogs that are chew happy. It would be a nice alternative to my shoes!

I don’t know why it is but I could never get any of my dogs to play with toys for very long. They might chew them a little, or fetch them once or twice, and perhaps play tug of war, but they just weren’t that interested. Maybe it was me, or the dogs or just the toys I chose. I keep trying though. I like that this has an unpredictable bounce, maybe they’ll like the surprise of that.

I saw this toy before, I bet Monty (my bigger dog) would love it.

Looks like a toy that my Irish Setter would really enjoy. She is so hyper and constantly playing and running this toy would be tough enough for her type of playing.

I think my dog, Nala, would like this toy. She gets bored with the same old toys like the bone shaped ones. This would be something new and different to her.

This would be a great hit at our house as well with our 3 dogs. Rocky, our hyper one, always wants to play so this design allows us to play tug of war with him. He’s too big to play with the Chihuahuas but they can play with this as well with each other. Great review!

My dog’s favorite toy is a giraffe stuffed toy. He is always ripping it. I need to get some good sturdy toys like these.

We have 2 dogs, one a purebred yorkie, the second a mixed terrier. The mixed terrier is actually celebrating her first 1 year anniversary of being with us. She was dropped on our doorstep last year & her owner gave her up. She weighed about 8 lbs & had been abused & neglected her whole life. The girls that found her thought she was our little boy yorkie. She had never been vetted, never had toys, & left on a chain outside her whole life. Quite a difference a year makes, she is 12lbs, her fur/coat is healthy, she has been spayed, & is so excited to play with toys but still learning. 😉 She is my little Christmas miracle. =)

We adopted a second dog this year, and he’s a tough chewer, so we had to put away most of our first dog’s toys (much to his dismay). This Wox toy looks like it would hold up well around here, and both dogs could play with it. Thanks for your review! (P.S.: Trixie and Izzy are adorable!)

My dog loves to play, and he would adore this. When balls bounce in weird directions he freaks out, so this would be mind blowing for him.

This dog toy looks like it would be fun for Sparkie to play with. He loves playing with his toys that we have given him and grabs them and throws them around, he’s a lot of fun to watch playing.

Trixie is adorable! Lab crossed with pug turns out the cutest pup! What is Izzy? I have 4 pups. Tucker is boston crossed with pug. He is the only boy & the pack leader with so much attitude in just a look lol.
The Wox toy. Do you think it is tough enough for strong chewers? I doggie sit too. The big pups just destroy our toys so I am always on the look out for strong toys that will last more than a day 🙂
Thanks for sharing. I thrilled to find a blog that focuses on pets too.
