What to Pack for a Couples Weekend Getaway

We love to get away for the weekend like most people do. The problem is, who likes to pack a huge suitcase for only a couple of days? I found a great solution to a problem and it doesn’t take up more room. You can reuse what you may already have or give as a gift so they can reuse what they will then already have a diaper bag backpack. His and her diaper bag/backpack to be exact. Cooler Bag-Think Toiletry Bag

You can use the cooler bag as a toiletry bag. It’s the perfect size and probably fits everything you need, ie toothbrush, toothpaste, meds, deodorant etc. What’s great that if anything spills inside you can just wipe it and the bag isn’t ruined.

Laptop Station

If you are bringing a laptop you could use the flat back where you would put the changing pad. The bag unzips flat like the laptop backpacks packs do. This makes it for really easy access.

Obersee Bern

The Bern cooler bag goes on the outside which I think is really cool. You can fit your toiletries in this bag as well. If you consolidate your toiletries into the other bag, you could also put some snacks into the Bern cooler bag.

How many colors?

With so many colors to choose (18 right now) from there is definitely one for you.

There’s so much room in this bag I could have packed even more after I was done packing. There’s in a spot in the back of the bag for the changing pad, which is also perfect for a laptop.

Now that we talked all about the bags, we can dig what all goes into them. Of course, it all depends where you are going, and what time of year. It’s the fall here in the Midwest and we aren’t doing anything fancy, so no dress clothes are needed this time.

Girls Gymnastics Leotard

Here’s another great gift idea from Obersee. If your little one wants to get into gymnastics or back into it, this is the way. Obresee leotards are very well made. My good friend Anna’s daughter Hadley has been asking about gymnastics for a bit so it’s perfect timing to get her back into it.

The Anya Turquoise is 80% nylon and 20% spandex so it has a very high percentage of elasticity. No sleeves and super comfortable. Hadley didn’t want to take this off. She could move very easily around. One of the other things that I liked is that there are a lot of sizes. They go from XXS to L and then into women’s. Obersee wants everyone to be able to enjoy gymnastics.

If you have ever been you a gymnastics meet you know you have to prepare for anything and everything to happen. You need a great bag with tons of pockets to hold all of the hair supplies and everything you may need. A bag like a Bern or a Prague is perfect for this, especially the Bern as in my opinion is bigger than the Prague.
