To start I have to tell you that I am a fan of Vince Vaughn I've loved him in almost every movie I've seen including his soon to come to theater's movie the Delivery Man. I thought that Vince and Owen Wilson were hilarious in the Wedding Crashers so we my hubby and  I were excited to watch them together again in the Internship. When I saw commercials for this movie I knew it would be funny, what a great concept these two characters as the "older" interns at Google, you just knew it would be funny and it did not disappoint!

A bit about a couple of the up and coming stars in the movie:

It may seem like there are always new stars appearing in Hollywood, many of who quickly fade into the background while others shine and rise to the top. Max Minghella and Dylan O’Brien from The Internship are two fresh faces on the scene and are certainly stars to look out for. These rising stars have bright futures ahead! Get to know these two young stars and find out more about what they’ve been doing over the past few years.

Meet Dylan O’Brien for “The First Time”

In 2012, Dylan O’Brien played the role of a young high school boy in the romantic comedy The First Time.  His character, Dave Hodgman, connects with an attractive girl from a different high school and ends up experiencing love for the first time. O’Brien was endearing and certainly caught the eye of many teenage girls, who swooned over his adorable smile.

Prior to The Ides of March, Minghella made an appearance on the big screen as Divya Narendra in The Social Network, the hit movie depicting the story behind Facebook. Divya was a brilliant rival of Mark Zuckerberg, infuriated by the fact that he was not making it big with a site such as Facebook. Minghella’s talent was evident in his bitter and angry portrayal of Divya.

We decided to watch the movie when our daughter was at a birthday party sleepover as we were not certain if it was appropriate for a 12 year old. It does have a PG-13 rating so I would say it's up to parents as to what they're comfortable with. We didn't find there to be any excessive swearing, there were a few nude scenes that were brief which if my daughter had been there she would have turned her head anyways. Overall we just had some really great laughs, enjoyed Vince and Owen and the "younger" crew members that became part of their google intern team. We found ourselves laughing at the Harry Potter inspired quidditch game (you will have to see how they pull that one off) and  rooting for this underdog of a team!

I don't want to reveal too much but if you're a fan of either actor then the Internship is a MUST SEE you won't be disappointed we loved it and it was a great night's entertainment!

Sneak Peek on the Movie

Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson team up to crash the digital world in this laugh-out-loud buddy comedy you’ve been searching for! Trying to reboot their obsolete careers, old-school salesmen Billy (Vaughn) and Nick (Wilson) talk their way into an internship program at the state-of-the-art Google campus, vying for a handful of spots among tech-savvy college students who are half their age and twice as smart. 4. DIL Nicole and I love romantic comedies. And I'll watch anything with Owen Wilson anyway, he's always funny. I'm not sure if it actually counts as romantic comedy even though it has romance and comedy, but The Princess Bride is an all-time favorite movie in my family. It's one of the few we watch every few years and all find funny.

  5. Currently my favorite comedy is Life As We Know It. I just feel a kin with it because I was a new parent when I watched it and it was just so funny and relateable!
