I honestly can't remember the last time I got new pots and pans!
I personally have never bought new pans. I have been given all of the pans that I have and most are in dyer need of replacement.
The last time I bought a new pot or pan was about two years ago when I bought the "green" frying pan for myself and Christmas presents!
The last time I bought new pots and pans I was in college (which was over 20 years ago.) Those pots/pans have since retired and I have been gifted a new set for Christmas from my family a few years ago.
The last time we purchased any new pots/pans was about twelve years ago. They are holding up pretty well, however, I would love to own a Wok, it's one I never had and I would love to try some Chinese recipes that I see that use one. 🙂
I havent ever bought pans. We got some for our wedding and my son just gave me a nice set

I bought a frying pan about 6 months ago.

Back in the early 90's was the last time I bought any new ones! Back when Service Merchandise still had stores!

Ummmm I have never bought new pots and pans. We had hand me downs when we moved out and then about 4-5 years ago my in laws got me some for christmas.

I think I was 16 and bought them from Fingerhut for my hope chest and I still have them and I'm fifty some now.
