World of Disney Eye Found it! Game

Mickey Mouse and friends never go out of style so it always a guarantee that the kids will love anything to do with Mickey and his friends and the World of Disney Eye Found it games is no exception. This one has princesses, Monsters Inc and even Phinease and Ferb and more! You can join Mickey and friends on this fun filled race through twelve beautifully  illustrated Disney worlds. Parents and children alike will enjoy finding the iconic Disney objects and when they do can shout out for joy“I found it!”. My whole family enjoyed this one from six year old cousins up to the adults we had lots of fun and it's great to have a game that all ages can enjoy.

Little boys everywhere like to be pirates and captains of ships and Jake and the Neverland Pirates Shipwreck Beach Treasure Hunt game does not disappoint! Captain Hook has buried pirate booty all over Shipwreck Beach. Flip over the gold doubloons and use Jake’s spyglass to decode the secret clues. We know a few little guys in kindergarten to grade three who had a blast playing this game, so much so they got mad at us when we told them it was time to put the game away lol

Doc McStuffins All Better! Game

Doc McStuffins is an extremely popular character so of course we couldn't miss having the Doc on our gift guide. This is a fun way for children to bring out the doctor in them, pretend to make boo boos go away, put on bandages and find out more about the mystery ouchie. This game is popular with the boys and the girls and I found that it worked great for children ages 3-8, even some of the 9-10 year old friends and family members joined in just to help they said but they had fun despite themselves.

Last but not least it's the Justice League Axis of Villains Strategy Game

This one is popular in my home as my daughter and hubby watch all things Superman and Batman so this game was perfect for them. This one is about the most dangerous villains the Justice League has come across and players can play as Superman, Batman, Green Lantern, or The Flash and team up to defeat them in this powered-up strategy game! As it's all about strategy it definitely works better for older kids, I wouldn't go with kids under 8 years of age. My 12 year old daughter and hubby had a blast with this game!

  3. When my kids were still at home and much younger we would play board games after homework at least three times a week. That was of course before computers and cell phones etc. We also had movie mights where each child got to choose the movie and with bowls of pop corn ad pretzels we'd enjoy evenings spent together.
