Powered by Mom brings you a Wonder Forge Games for Kids Review
I like for kids to get unplugged and play some games where they can interact in person with each other and us. Even if they are playing by themselves at least they’re unplugged. Board games are always a wonderful option and you can entice the kids even more to play them if they some of their favorite characters like Marvel super heroes or beloved Disney characters are a part of the game. Wonder Forge has an amazing variety of games for kids!
We were lucky enough to receive THREE awesome WonderForge games for kids to share with the kids in our life
We received:
Pictopia: Disney Edition Trivia Game
Ultimate Spider-Man™ Trickshot Duel™ Game
Star Wars™ Rebel Missions Game
About Wonder Forge
Wonder Forge has consistently offered top-quality experiences, raising the bar for preschool and family games everywhere. Wonder Forge works tirelessly to create strong, long-lasting partnerships with licensors. This approach has set the foundation for securing cherished literary licenses, like Dr. Seuss and Richard Scarry, as well as more recent favorites, like Disney Jr., Warner Bros., and Nickelodeon.
We played the Pictopia: Disney Edition Trivia Game with our 13 year old daughter, she decided she wanted to keep this game for ourselves and the other two we would save for when the younger family members come to visit or she thought some of her younger cousins would love them for Christmas.
Bothy my husband and I had to admit that the Pictopia game did make us think. We had to think about our Disney trivia, what we remembered from the classics to the blockbuster movies. I usually know my movies quite while especially the Disney movies but even I had to really think hard on some questions. For the newer movies and any animated ones in this decade my daughter did quite well with them! Overall we had a great time together with some old fashion family time and bringing back memories of our favourite Disney moments and movies!
The Ultimate Spider-Man™ Trickshot Duel™ Game has a lot of action but kids still have to do some strategic thinking, for some it teaches them to be patient if they want to do well, to think about their move before they do it. Kids get really excited playing this one and I find it’s perfect for the “busy” kids in so many ways!
Last but not least the Star Wars™ Rebel Missions Game helps kids to learn teamwork as they have to team up in this game, they have to think about what they’re doing but it’s still a lot of fun. It is for ages 6-12 and we did find that it was too much for a 5 year old family member as they weren’t quite ready to take it on. There are also lots of small pieces so definitely not for little ones. I think that it will vary of course depending on the child’s preferences. If they love Star Wars they will enjoy this game!
WonderForge always has a wonderful assortment of games for all ages, with beloved characters and they are always so reasonably priced. Always a fabulous gift option any time of the year, thanks Wonder Forge!
