Softest Blanket

Powered by Mom's Review

Minky Couture sent my daughter the Macall: Black and White Polk-A-Dot with Lime Swirl and Lime Ruffle tween blanket and she couldn't have been more tickled pink or in this case lime green. My daughter ADORES this blanket and I can't say I blame here it really is luxury in a blanket and the softest blanket we own! I thought some of other blankets that we have here at home were soft but when you compare them to the Minky Couture blanket there really is no comparison, it is the softest by far! It is extremely well made and holds up well in the wash, although we make sure to use it in the handwash cycle only just to be on the safe side.

My daughter likes to use it has her main blanket she goes to sleep although it's a bit small to be a full blanket (it is the tween size) but she's not complaining. Of course she also likes to snuggle up to it while watching tv too. As mentioned it's just so darn soft that even my hubby and I are thinking we need to have our own Minky Couture blanket as well!

Here's some pictures of my daughter with her blanket. Shhh she doesn't know I took the one of her sleeping (hey at least it's of her from the back lol)

Pure Luxury from Minky Couture

As you can see the blankets are reversible and trust me when I say it doesn't matter which side you use they are both soft and cozy. Lime green also just happens to be my daughter's favorite color right now but don't worry it doesn't matter what color you're looking for Minky Couture is sure to have something you will love! They also do custom blankets so you really can have whatever you want!

Overall we give the Minky Couture Tween blanket a 5 out of 5 stars for super duper softness, quality, selection and for what you're getting especially with the 40% off a good bang for your buck! The Minky Couture can easily be one of those keepsakes that gets handed down in the family although I don't think I would ever give my Minky up if I had my own 🙂

As promised so everyone doesn't fight over the one Minky Couture blanket you can get 40% off by using Deb40 at checkout when you shop here: http://www.softminkyblankets.com/online-store.htm.

She still takes it everywhere, but is embarrassed to admit to her friends, that she has bear bear. 🙂 Its a super soft polar fleece, that she uses when she needs comfort. 🙂

  6. My stepson had a blue blankie that he would twirl a corner on, and put in his mouth. It was disgusting. He sat in front of the washing machine and cried every time I washed it. One day when he was almost 5, I asked him if he wanted to quit carrying around his blanket. He said yes, and that was that.

  7. My oldest son has a blanky that he's has since he was born, can't sleep without it. it's a little blanky with a rattle and it's a giraffe. We have like 5 of the same type of blanket, but he only wants this one..which he needs to give up because it's so nasty from bringing it everything, the washer no longer takes the dirt/stink out. lol

They stuffed toys were Minnie Mouse, Big Bird and a small handmade bunny rabbit with her name on it. She also carried some of her favorite baby blankets and her baby pillow.

  11. My favorite blankie was my baby blanket actually. It was a handmade small quilt that was checkered pink and white on one side and an odd pattern with yellow and orange speckles on the other which I never quite understood but I loved it all the same. Now it’s my mini minky blankie of fuzzy blue and yellow/blue/green on the other

  22. My son had a blanket with a bear on it that his dad bought him before his dad passed away. My son named it 'Bear Bear' and Bear Bear went everywhere with him. Sadly Bear Bear was in a house fire at the sitters while I was at work one day. Everyone got out and was ok but Bear Bear was gone. Took forever to get my son to sleep without Bear Bear. Finally he found a teddy bear he named Toby. Still to this day my 26 yr old and his wife sleep with Toby.

  35. I had a huge teddy bear that I kept up to my teen years. I lovvvvvvvvved my teddy bear. I finally gave it up because there were some children that we baby sat that had nothing. They literally had no toys. They saw my teddy and held him and would rock with him and love him like I did when I was small. It touched my heart so much even as a teenager and even though I hated to let my teddy bear go, I knew it was the right thing to do. I gave him to those three little children and you would have thought they were given a whole toy store. I may have lost my teddy but I gained so much more that day. It was a lea son in life I will never forget and never regret. My old teddy was given new life that day and the home of those children was filled with joy of one little gift that exploded into rays of rainbows for them.

She had to cut the feet off of them so I could wear them but I wouldn't let her throw them out. My son also had a favorite pair of pj's he used to wear under his clothes. They were super man pj's it was cute. I had the same problem with him.

  62. My oldest daughter had this silky, baby bunting thing that un-zipped to a flat sort of blanket. She rubbed the "blankie" between her fingers to loll herself to sleep. My middle daughter didn't really have anything. (that I can recall, anyway). My youngest carried a cloth diaper (the old fashioned kind that is thicker in the middle) around with her EVERYWHERE. It got SO dingy and I often threatened to throw it out if she didn't let me wash it. She even took it to sleepovers. I was embarrassed for anyone to see such a tattered piece of material. Finally one Mom, (who became a best friend eventually) gave me a couple more diapers exactly like my daughters. Now I could always have one on hand if I needed to wash her precious "Nonnie" YEP, you got it! She called it her Nonnie. LOL
