British Columbia has received record breaking snowfalls this winter making many people nervous about power outages. It's inevitable that with bad weather some people do lose power anywhere from a few minutes to days. In fact not too long ago Vancouver had some major wind storms and home throughout the lower mainland were without power for days. Some of our friends who only live a few blocks away from us were without power for six days. In addition to such power outage emergencies my husband also has need of a generator for his various job sites.
