You can make coffee by the carafe or just enough for a single cup or travel cup, you can also make concentrated coffee for all of those espresso style delicious drinks like cappuccinos, lattes, a straight shot of espresso and it's compact for all of the functions it can perform.
The Ninja Coffee Bar is actually a drip coffee system, so there is a reusable coffee grounds basket you use. You don't need paper filters ever but it is a drip system, one that does so much though!

It's all about the Auto-iQ™ One-Touch Intelligence by Ninja®. It allows you to select a size and choose the strength of your brew from the classic coffee cup to the specialty brew for espresso like drinks. With it's revolutionary Thermal Flavor Extraction you can have coffee in so many sizes and types from hot to cold to all those yummy specialty coffees can we mocha or latte please. 🙂

The Auto-iQ™ extracts the exact amount of water that is needed from the reservoir which is based on the brew size and and brew type you select. That takes all of the guess work out of the equation for you.
Here's a close up of the different programming. Select your size of brew of coffee cup to full carafe and strength of brew.
If you want a regular size cup of coffee you can flip down the handy coffee cup shelf (see photo below), then choose your brew size, in this case cup and brew strength. Most use classic coffee in this case but I like my mochas and lattes so I use the specialty brew and then I add my milk and/or foam.

As promised I said I'd share on how the frother works. It's incredibly easy, you use the manual frother below. It has a line to show you the maximum amount of milk to put in the frother. You warm it up in just the glass frother, so detach it from the other parts like pictured below.
Once the milk is warmed up you put the frother together and do what we're showing you in the video below. It takes only seconds to do!
That was darn easy right? Wondering how much foam we got? Well take a gander at the photo below, that's how much!
Now I haven't talked much about it but the Ninja Coffee Bar Auto IQ also comes with either a glass carafe or you pay a bit more for the thermal carafe that we have. So when you want a lot of coffee or have a few friends or family members over. You can select full carafe or half carafe. We will use it when we have people over, it's nice to have and I like the thermal carafe for keeping the coffee warm.

I need some frothy deliciousness in my life. This would be a treat to have for my whole family. I love that it has something for everyone. My daughters would be making expresso and I would love to make a latte. It's so great that it has a reusable filter.

I have been eyeing this machine for awhile now because there are times/mornings that a pot full of coffee is too much for just hubby and myself and with the different sizes of cups this would make it a lot easier to make whatever I want after hubby leaves for work as he is just a plain jane coffee person lol.
I am impressed, not only with all the different kinds of coffee you can make, but it has the necessary functions such as delay brew and keeping coffee warm.

I hope this comes with an instruction book with all the settings it has. Glad it's a drip maker as I have a 12 cup coffee maker and have to fool with grounds and a basket. Also glad it has a one touch so don't have to punch in a lot of stuff.
I already have a classic 12-cup drip coffee maker, and a Keurig Mini, but I keep looking at the Ninja and wondering if I could replace 1 or both of them with it. Your review has made it even harder for me to say no to possibly getting one of these for myself!
I love how this is a like a traditional coffee maker but with extra features. I like how you can adjust the brew strength.

This is an awesome all-in-one. From the no filter basket to the differnt sizes, brew strengths, recipe book and the great frother. Compact enough for even smal homes.

In the long run this would be a great money saver. If you added up all the expensive drinks you buy at Starbucks or other coffee spots you could have one of this for every room (even by the john).

What I love about this machine is that you can make any coffee drink that you want!!! I can save a ton of money bu making my own... good bye coffee shops! I love "fun" coffees, but I'm also very cheap---so rarely buy the ones I'd prefer. This would give me an at-home option, while also pleasing my husband, who prefers boring coffee. 🙂

Ohh this sounds AWESOME! I have a lot of regular Coffee that I buy, because of the Blends and never use because of the Kuerig, Would love to get away from that and back to regular Coffee Grounds or Beans, and this one doesn't use Filters, which is a plus because my Old Coffee Maker that is sitting in the cabinet with my other non useful Items, uses Filters and is sooo out of Style. But I love the Coffee Blends especially Pumpkin Blends that come out at this time of Year, so I end up Buying them but they sit in their Airless Packages because I end up using Pods, would absolutely love to switch and give this a try!

This coffee bar is amazing!! You can make just a small cup to a full carafe full. You can make ur basic coffee to lattes, fraps, and iced coffees. The sky is the limit!! You can even make ur own whipped cream. How great is that!! This is a system I want in my kitchen!!

Well it looks like it would be what would fit with our life. My husband.. oh my gosh he drinks such WEAK weak coffee, you might as well not bother in my opinion. There are so many great features of this coffee system. For one, iced coffee-I've tried to make it with my regular coffee maker and its nothing to write about, so I would love a machine geared toward iced coffee. Also, love that you can fit a travel mug under it because I have to dirty a regular coffee mug every morning and then pour it into my travel mug since it doesn't fit! I also love that you can set it to make one cup of coffee or a carafe!

Right from the start let me say that I just love love the Auto-IQ. I wish I had it on my Ninja Blender. It came after I got mine though. It has almost too many good functions. Craft, single cup, over ice, etcetera. I would love to give it a try.

We have wanted a maker with a frother that doesn't take pods. This one looks perfect.
This would be perfect for my mom. She likes making the single cup but then turns around and wants another cup later. I just want to play with, excuse me, I meant use the frother.
Love that you don't have to be constantly buying filters. Great to have the choice of making a single cup or a carafe.
I would especially like the feature of different brew strengths because I like my coffee hearty in the morning but when I have an afternoon cup or two, I definitely need it a little milder. Also love being able to make just one cup. This certainly has every conceivable feature that I can imagine.
I have never seen one that did so many things. This would be great to have coffee.

This coffee maker sounds to good to be true. I hate trying to make iced coffee with a conventional coffee maker. I am always impatient, waiting for the coffee to cool before I poor it over ice and, of course, the ice ends up melting and diluting the drink. It would be nice to have real iced coffee at home. I like that you don't need to buy filters also.

Nice review, very detailed, with pics and video's make me want to go have a cup of coffee!! This is the kind of coffee maker that would be perfect for hubby and I. He likes to have a cup or so throughout the day so the carafe would be perfect for him and the feature to keep it warm is great. I on the other hand like specialty coffees with the foam on the top! Wow, so many options and features. I like that you can make it like espresso like at a coffee shop, I also like that you can get a insulated carafe or a glass one.

And I also like that you can make single cups or a carafe full - i like fresh coffee so generally make a cup at a time so this would be perfect for me on a daily basis but can switch to a carafe when I have people over.

yes I make my own chocolate whip cream and it's so easy, depending on how much you want to make I do 2 cups whip cream, 1/4 cup coconut sugar, 1 tbsp of cacoa, everyone always loves it 🙂

I love the fact that you can make a single cup or a whole carafe.
I watched the intro video and it was very helpful. I wonder if you can vary the cup size? I use a coffee mug which is less than travel size but certainly more than the 6 oz size that some think suits a cup.

I didn't know what all it did. My son has one, so I've had coffee and he did make me an iced drink once.
I like the Auto IQ feature because it lets you pick the desired strength of your coffee.
Good idea for size chooser ... depending on mood and stomach signals, need to keep an eye on how much coffee would be appropriate ...

I would love this. We drink a lot of different kinds of coffee. Hot coffee and iced coffee and this would make it so much easier.
I like that it has the half-carafe feature. I like coffee throughout the day, but most of the time I don't get to drink it all before it gets that burnt taste from sitting too long.

I have been wanting one of these since they first came out!! Loved the video of the easy milk frother. It would be great to make iced coffees as well as warm, all from the same machine without all the cabinet clutter.

Ninja Coffee bar looks amazing to use . I love all the different drinks especially the iced coffee now that its summer time and very hot here. My coffee make just died we drink coffee everyday in our home so it would get plenty of use. The reusable coffee grounds basket is great no more running out of filters too.

I really love the Auto IQ feature that has so many options to choose from. I also love that it will choose the right amount of water from the reservoir for you instead of trying to measure it out each time you make a cup. this would be great in our home because we all have such different tastes in what we drink and this machine can make them all!

I would love this! I love coffee shop coffees, but I rarely get to enjoy them. It is not even the expense (I would just enjoy the luxury) it is that I just don[t get out to the shops very often. This would be amazing.

I learned that this is the best coffee machine ever. In my houseld we all have different taste when it omes to coffee. i love ice coffee as well as trying new flavors. I love the specialty option and that it comes with a recipe book. I also love that you can make a single serving of whatever type of coffee you like. Sometimes in the afternoons a family member of mine would want coffee and will go around asking if coffee is made will they have some. Oh I also love that it comes with a froth maker that is super cool.
I like how it has so many options for amount brewed (single to carafe) and the different strengths of brew.
I like that this system does not require me to buy paper filters - and even better is that hubby can coffee his way and I can have it my way since it's a one-cup machine.
Thank you for the review and demonstrations. This seems like a very easy system to use. The frothing system is a bit clunky, but does the job. I have had a system that frothed the milk with steam and it wasn't always easy to use. I will have to look into the Ninja Coffee Bar.
I have wanted one of these ever since they came on the market as I am a coffee lover through and through since I had to cut out all of my other vices when I got sick. Coffee is what keeps me going daily.
I love a machine such as the Ninja Coffee Bar with Auto IQ, that can do it all.
