Save time preparing delicious meals with the Power Quick Pot

The Power Quick Pot is perfect for preparing yummy meals in less time and using in small spaces!

You don't always have to spend hours of time prepping and cooking to put a delicious meal on the table. I'd rather spend my time eating a yummy meal then spending all of my time preparing it. So we're sharing how you can save tons of time and still have healthy, yummy meals snacks and more in less time with our not so secret weapon the pressure cooker Power Quick Pot.

Power Quick Pot and Accessories

I'm sure you've been hearing all the buzz for a while now about Instant Pots/Pressure Cookers. I am not one to personally to jump on the bandwagon when something new comes out soI have been reluctant to try one of the new pressure cookers. In addition to that, at the moment my husband and I are living in a temporary 355 square foot place while we are building a new house. Space is limited, and that may be an understatement! I have a small kitchenette area with a tiny sink, a coffee maker, a toaster oven, a college size refrigerator with a microwave sitting on top. Cooking has been a challenge! ......Enter a new Power Quick Pot in my life.  They are perfect for anyone with small spaces and those wanting to spend less time on the prep and more time enjoying everything else!

Slow Cooker Tasting Roast in Less Than an Hour!

Using a pressure cooker does have a learning curve but the this Power Quick Pot made it as easy as possible. I can definitely see a lot of new possibilities for cooking while in this tiny space, and my new pressure cooker will certainly find a home in my new kitchen. The first thing I tried in the Power Quick Pot was a roast. All my adult life I have fixed roast in my slow cooker overnight.  With about 12-13 hours on low that roast would fall apart, so to say that I was skeptical of a roast in 40 minutes cooking time was telling the truth.  However, that power pot proved me wrong.  The roast was tender and delicious and the potatoes and carrots were very soft & tasty.

Benefits:  You get the taste of a slow cooker in much less time, saves energy and multiple pot usage.  It also helps with that dreaded question that I always hated to hear, "What's for dinner?"  because now the possibilities are greatly multiplied.  You can go from frozen to the table with a delicious meal in a short amount of time, and the bonus is that once you get it in the pot and start, you are free to do other things while it cooks.

Perfect Eggs in the Power Quick Pot

Perfect Hard Boiled Eggs

Do you dread boiling those eggs for deviled eggs, knowing when you peel them they will look atrocious?  Well, let me tell you, the Power Quick Pot made perfect eggs. They peeled very easy and look beautiful, except for the one egg that must have had a crack in the shell prior to cooking.  I always want to be honest so I left that one in the bunch and the picture will show the outcome. The eggs were cooked to perfection in the middle and no green/gray rings on those yolks!

This Power Quick Pot not only came with the accessories mentioned earlier but you see in the picture below it also came with 4 cookbooks.

The possibilities for quick and delicious meals that save you tons of time are endless. Don't be afraid to try out your favorite recipes in the Power Quick Pot and to try new ones too. You'll love the yummy meals but you'll really love not spending as much time preparing them.

Check out Power Quick Pots, they come in three different sizes, a 6 qt., an 8 qt. and a 10 qt.  You will find them listed on our Holiday Gift Guide.  It would make a nice gift for that busy lady in your life!

  2. I've been debating on one of these. I am the biggest last minute dinner decider and I think this would be helpful. I appreciate that you left the bad egg in, that would totally happen to me I'm sure.

  6. This would replace my crockpot that I have had for 15 years, since both of us have to work, prepping everything at night and then cook for us all day to come home for a meal would be amazing!!

  7. I just got an instant pot recently. The only thing we have made so far is creamy potato soup. I can't wait to try more meals in it. I would love to try a broccoli cheddar soup and a dessert soon!

  8. Not sure what this has to do with entering to win boots but id never own one of these. I dont like the idea of pressurized food at high temps.

  9. My sister in law does her eggs in the insta pot because they are fresh just out of the chicken and hard to peel any other way she fixes them. Me I think the first thing would be a pot roast one of my favorite things to fix and eat

  10. Id love to try and make a roast with veggies as a main coarse and then a cake for dessert after the roast. These instant pots sound amazing and I will be watching for a sale on them!

  11. This looks extremely useful. I would probably make a classic beef stew recipe that has been in the family for a long time. It is delicious. If my partner had something, he would probably make his slow-cook chili.

  13. I'd like to use it to cook up my dried beans. I buy them, then they just sit, as I don't have the time to make them. This is perfect!

  14. I have a crock pot, so I never really thought that there was a big difference in the instant pot. After reading your review, I can see there are quite a few features on these that obviously a crock pot doesn't have. I mean come on, boiled eggs!!??! I may be putting this on a wish list and looking into buying one in the future. I'd try making those eggs for sure!

  15. I really like the features of this power quick pot! I was not familiar with it before your review. I think I would attempt chicken dumplings first, but I really would like to try the boiled eggs too.... not to mention many many other dishes that come to mind!

  22. (Power Quick Pot – Easy And Delicious Meals In Less Time) Everything that is cooked in these quick pots looks like it comes out so good. I have to try cooking with one of these neat new gadgets someday soon.

  23. I am not the best cook, in the world. I love to over cook meats. Lol! I love the idea of preset buttons and cookbooks. Also, that you can prepare a healthy meal, when your prep time is limited.

  24. I wonder how well this would do cooking a really tough cut, perhaps something pork with an apple based sauce with just a tablespoon or two of vinegar. I wonder if it would really work that vinegar into the meat to tenderize it a bit.

  25. I think if I had a power quick pot I would go crazy and make something unexpected...like a gumbo. I think that would really put it through a challenge with the shrimp and sausage and everything else. Gumbo I prefer the first day but chilli I prefer after the first day so I would also do a chilli to see if it can get me to that 2nd day flavor.

  26. It’s nice full meals can be made in this pot in such a short amount of time. It makes things simple for families that are busy or don’t have a lot of extra time to cook huge meals.

  27. It's nice that they include cookbooks, because they should offer ideas and get you thinking of other methods to use it.

I really like the ability to hard boil the eggs like that.

  28. I use my slow cooker all the time, but the waiting is painful, I need one of these to speed up that 'slow cooked' taste. I've been reading reviews of a lot of different pressure cookers to pick one...still deciding, but this one looks good.

  29. I would cook up venison neck so I can pick it off for hot beef type sandwiches. I would then cook the bones down for broth. (Can I do that in the pressure cooker?) I have always been wary of pressure cookers and am glad I waited until they improved them some. I love the cool touch lid handle and the protection lid lock with the magnet.

  31. I love all of these fun ideas! My hubby and I cook separate meals for dinner as I'm a vegetarian and he's not. There is never enough room at the stove for both of us. It would be so convenient for me to make my vegetarian chili's or lentil curries in this pot so I can stay out of the way of the hub's as he's cooking his meat.

  32. I like my kitchen but the space is small this would allow for good meals in a less amount of time and would not take up the space that I do not have.

  33. I didn't know how many different things instant pots do or that there were 3 sizes. I was always a little scared of pressure cookers but the new ones seem less scary. I can't believe you can even make yogurt in it. Awesome!
